[ Generally, people need time to cope and gather themselves after a... thing... like that. Unfortunately, that's not how Vanille sees it. Her thing is avoid, and once she gets out of that hellhole that's the courtroom, she makes her way to the supplies closet, then to the library. She spends some time setting up things, pushing things aside to make room. Once she's finished, and she's met up with the Party Brigade, she makes enough invitations for everyone. She slips them under everyone's doors, or hands them out if she sees someone walking around.



Inside the library, there are candles set up to provide some soft, comforting lighting. There are pots of tea, courtesy of Mercy, pancakes made by Viktor, and books (picked out by Estelle, of course) laid out on the surrounding tables. The others have provided their own touches, and Vanille's even managed to make something: sugar cookies, which are actually very good. They're flavored lightly with all sorts of flavors--not all in the same cookie, okay--and each plate is marked with whatever flavor she's put in them.

After a successful trial, it's healthy to indulge, right? Let's mingle. ]

I didn't get the chance to talk about her. I didn't know her. I'm not sure if any of us did. Would she have done something like that if we weren't in here? I can't answer that.

[She wasn't exactly forthcoming with information, either.]

I'm not angry at her, if that's what you're asking. I don't like what she did, but I can understand why.

[ Elda had fairly loudly proclaimed she didn't care about her.

She didn't deserve to die, much less like that.

[There isn't a lot of emotion behind it- he didn't know her, and he didn't see her body, or else he might be a little more worked up right now- but it's sincere nonetheless. It hasn't really sank in that she's really gone. Maybe it's easier if he keeps his distance.]

But she won't be the last death, no matter what that Bruce guy thinks.

[ Even if she agrees, honestly. She refuses to become one, but she agrees ]

I don't give a snot about the dead girl, and if Wordsmith didn't go and make it my responsibility, no matter what she says [ and she glances over towards Hanyuu n the far corner ] I don't owe any human anything. I get where Ushiromiya was coming from, but she was sloppy.


[ To be fair and give her responses to her own questions. ] Guess that works out for us, though.
