i'll wait, so show me why you're strong
[ Generally, people need time to cope and gather themselves after a... thing... like that. Unfortunately, that's not how Vanille sees it. Her thing is avoid, and once she gets out of that hellhole that's the courtroom, she makes her way to the supplies closet, then to the library. She spends some time setting up things, pushing things aside to make room. Once she's finished, and she's met up with the Party Brigade, she makes enough invitations for everyone. She slips them under everyone's doors, or hands them out if she sees someone walking around.

Inside the library, there are candles set up to provide some soft, comforting lighting. There are pots of tea, courtesy of Mercy, pancakes made by Viktor, and books (picked out by Estelle, of course) laid out on the surrounding tables. The others have provided their own touches, and Vanille's even managed to make something: sugar cookies, which are actually very good. They're flavored lightly with all sorts of flavors--not all in the same cookie, okay--and each plate is marked with whatever flavor she's put in them.
After a successful trial, it's healthy to indulge, right? Let's mingle. ]

You're done now, right? [ Getting this ridiculous outfit back together is clearly more important.]

[ He makes a thoughtful pause, trying to figure out if he wants to ask more, but he'll just leave it (prying on someone's personal thoughts is rude!!). He'll then step closer with a smile. ]
... As long as everything is really alright, then, I'm prepared to be assisted again.

[ Putting the outback together, which suprisingly goes pretty smoothly.]
What were you gonna do if I said no to helping you?
no subject
I don't know.
no subject
[ Well he has no comment for that, but he is finished with the reclothing, so he moves back around so they can talk properly.]
What did you do before you came here?
no subject
[ He'll smile and then make a small bow out of appreciation for Killia's actions. ]
What about you?
no subject
[ Uh, he has no idea how to respond to the bow but he nods. You people with your social customs.]
We had just finished fighting a reanimated Overlord.
no subject
[ It's a mystery. Maybe he'll remember that soon! ]
... Well, I hope that fight wasn't too difficult.
no subject
[ ...maybe they should just talk about what they do remember.]
Not as difficult as the Corpse General, Majorita.
[ They got their ass kicked, or they woulda if she didn't get called away.]
no subject
[ He remembers what happened to all of his previous masters, does that count!!! ]
... My, how did you defeat her?
no subject
We didn't, that's why we fought the Overlord. She didn't think it was worth her time.
[ It really wasn't tbh.]
no subject
[ ... Or at least he thinks he is? Either way he'll pass another smile. ]
Ah, one more thing, I know I already have, but I just wanted to thank you again for your help, Killia. I wouldn't know what to do without you, hahaha.
no subject
[ Uh no really don't how does he keep getting into situations with people where he can't say no.]
no subject
Alright. Now, shall we head back, or do you want to hang around in my room some more? I don't mind either way.
no subject
We can head back, I need to talk to Christo.
no subject
[ He'll laugh a bit, but he seems in very good spirits. Probably because Killia helped him, but there's literally a skip in his step now as they go out the door! \o/ ]
