[ Generally, people need time to cope and gather themselves after a... thing... like that. Unfortunately, that's not how Vanille sees it. Her thing is avoid, and once she gets out of that hellhole that's the courtroom, she makes her way to the supplies closet, then to the library. She spends some time setting up things, pushing things aside to make room. Once she's finished, and she's met up with the Party Brigade, she makes enough invitations for everyone. She slips them under everyone's doors, or hands them out if she sees someone walking around.



Inside the library, there are candles set up to provide some soft, comforting lighting. There are pots of tea, courtesy of Mercy, pancakes made by Viktor, and books (picked out by Estelle, of course) laid out on the surrounding tables. The others have provided their own touches, and Vanille's even managed to make something: sugar cookies, which are actually very good. They're flavored lightly with all sorts of flavors--not all in the same cookie, okay--and each plate is marked with whatever flavor she's put in them.

After a successful trial, it's healthy to indulge, right? Let's mingle. ]

I wouldn't call myself a leader, but yeah. All they do is fight with each other, Red Magnus will say something then Seraphina will shoot him...

While it sounds entertaining, it's not exactly productive. You all are some kind of rebels, right?

It's not, but that happened pretty much every day. [ At least demons are generally durable or Red Magnus would have been dead a long time ago.]

The Netherworlds can be a harsh place. A lot of demons live by their own code, taking what they want, warring over petty reasons, extorting everyone because they can. There's an order to it though, or there was, we even have a senate.

But that changed when Void Dark decided to conquer all of the Netherworlds, killing those who didn't bow to him. Others have tried it before, but not on such a massive scale and not with complete abandon. He doesn't care, and each day it gets harder and harder to stop him. Even some of the long established Netherworlds have fallen.

Sounds like something going on in my world, though on a much larger scale. I certainly can't fault you for trying to take a stand against it!

Of course. Years ago the Ylisseans branded all of my people heretics and killed as many of us as they could in a one-sided war. They let up eventually but claimed we lost the "war" and further demeaned us. I lost people important to me, as did the rest of my fellow Plegians. I got to where I am because I want the Ylisseans to suffer as we have! I won't stop until we've destroyed their royal family and their precious ideal peace!

[blah blah ylisseans are terrible and he hates them]
