WEEK 2.
Adelina and Kyrie Ushiromiya are dead. Regardless of how you felt about them and whether or not you mourned their passing, life goes on. It seems the Wordsmith intends to make good on the rules he's left for you all. Saturday is given to regrouping and rest; on Sunday morning the clock chimes as it always has, but at least there are no bodies to find today. It seems you're safe for now. The night before wasn't necessarily a peaceful one, however; you'll probably feel a bit groggy when you wake up, and it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost... Either way, it seems there's nothing to do but move on - or, perhaps, move down. Another door in that holding area near the elevator seems to have opened up, leading into a corridor and a stairwell that seems to lead you somewhere beneath the dormitories, and eventually onto a new floor altogether. Go ahead and explore all you like; after all, you did well at completing your lessons this past week. |

[OOC: Welcome to week two of Trustfell! Feel free to make as many top levels as you'd like and tag out to other characters! This post is for all of your interactions this week... at least until the weekend. Don't forget to save those threads for coins and the activity check!
If you'd like to get in contact with the Wordsmith, you can do so through letters or the switchboard!]

...Fine. She lets the woman have her arm back and she considers standing there level with her but thinks better of it. It's important to keep eye contact, but she goes back to Chiyuki's bed. And he picks up one of the items from the vending machine that she carried back more to fiddle with something. ]
I'm not going to promise anything, but I won't interrupt you.
no subject
[ She's technically explained what's up with her, so Elda's sworn to secrecy about it. ]
no subject
[ she said, while tugging on the tumbleweed.
... It's possible she misunderstood that promise ]
no subject
Not at all. [ :|a ] You done?
no subject
[ But yeah, she's more or less done.
Other than being petty ]
no subject
We serve those that've passed on. [ so. ] There's not a single person really alive there.
[ ...and they put them through games that judge character, and then they either decide "you're good, go have another life" or "nah man, down to the shame corner instead"
now that she thinks about it, that's not very fair for arbiters to decide, but getting mad over it right now isn't going to do anything for her. ]
no subject
... Wait, come again? Like you work for Saint Peter?
no subject
Who?
no subject
He's the guy Europe's church thinks is manning the doors of heaven.
no subject
...Not really, no. [ Probably not, anyway. ] Anyway, that's all I've got.
no subject
[ She's still not sure he gets it ]
no subject
Yeah.
no subject
[ . . . Wait. She looks up, a bit surprised at Chiyuki ]
If everyone is dead...
no subject
do you.
she's not going to confirm or deny here, she's just going to stay quiet, but do you get why she is potentially not here to talk about this. ]
no subject
And he reaches a hand out for her, palm up.
It's a little unclear what she implies ]
no subject
The gesture... makes her think she should put her hand in hers, but she'd rather not, thanks. Not without knowing what she's thinking about. ]
What?
no subject
[ SEE, she can be nice.
........ sort of ]
no subject
She'll take her hand then, after another quiet moment. ]
...Thanks.
[ She does mean it. Elda might've harassed her into doing this, and she might be a little resentful of that, but as long as she's willing to keep it a secret.
...there's nothing saying she should trust her to do that, but it's too late to doubt anything now. She just has to have faith. ]

[ Elda's grip for shaking Chiyuki's hand is firm - unexpectedly strong unless you expect the vampire to have a very strong grip. That said, she's smiling as she breaks it and backs off a step, looking almost a bit bashful.
... But no, she needed to know, right. ]
Don't worry, I'm under lock.
no subject
I appreciate it. [ ... ] Thanks for helping me carry back [ most of ] my stuff too.
no subject
betterselders! She smiles, grinning as she does and takes a step back towards the door ]No problem. You've got some of the nicer hair here, so we should talk shop about that sometime.
[ But she also knows the ghost mannequin probably wants to decompress, so she is making to leave ]
