WEEK 2
Adelina and Kyrie Ushiromiya are dead.

Regardless of how you felt about them and whether or not you mourned their passing, life goes on. It seems the Wordsmith intends to make good on the rules he's left for you all.

Saturday is given to regrouping and rest; on Sunday morning the clock chimes as it always has, but at least there are no bodies to find today. It seems you're safe for now. The night before wasn't necessarily a peaceful one, however; you'll probably feel a bit groggy when you wake up, and it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost...

Either way, it seems there's nothing to do but move on - or, perhaps, move down. Another door in that holding area near the elevator seems to have opened up, leading into a corridor and a stairwell that seems to lead you somewhere beneath the dormitories, and eventually onto a new floor altogether.

Go ahead and explore all you like; after all, you did well at completing your lessons this past week.

[Not sleeping much means that Jasper can, at times, act like the world's worst insomniac. Late at night, close to midnight, she can be found in the sewing room working on what looks like a strange flag/blanket with the odd assortment of fabrics she has found.

The light is on in the room, and can be seen spilling out into the hallway. She's not awkwardly sewing in the dark.]

[...Oh, hey Jasper.

Kimbley probably should be sleeping more than he is, but the fact of the matter is that he really doesn't care much for sleeping here because Reasons, so he's just going to go back to living on the second floor, if no one minds.

Of course, moving downstairs just means that he's going to see the light that's on in here; thank god she's not awkwardly sewing in the dark, he supposes, though he doesn't come in to see what she's doing just yet. He's leaning up against the doorway, and it looks like the school uniform is making an appearance again; he's got his hair tied back tonight, because apparently that's the status quo now.]

Keeping busy?

[She turns to look, not looking exactly surprised to see Kimbley, but that might have more to do with the fact that she doesn't startle easily. The sheer amount of materials, and the jagged lines here and there make it clear that she knows very little about quilting, but it doesn't look like she minds the interruption.]

You could say that. I have been working on this for the past couple of nights.

[She motions to the large pile of fabric on her lap for emphasis.]

[...You're trying and that's kind of delightful, though.]

[She's silent for a long moment.]

I... had a dream. At the meeting some of the others called them memories. I don't know either way.

The person who killed our Diamond-- she was there. But she looked different.

What's the word for a small human that has not fully matured?

[She repeats the word like it's not familiar to her. Which, to be fair, it probably isn't.]

In the dream, the person who killed our Diamond-- who started the rebellion in the first place. She had disguised herself as a child. She refused to fight.

It was disgraceful.

Why did she do that, do you think?

I don't know.

We were enemies, but I respected her tactics in battle. It's not something I could see her doing.

Do you have a question about us?

You don't have a profession called geomancers, do you?

No, nothing like that. Our professions are given to us depending on what kind of gem we are.

What is it?

[ That makes sense.]

They call them sages sometimes too. The geo symbols I told you about before, they work with them. They can manipulate them easily from a distance when others wouldn't be able to get close.

I thought you might have, because geo symbols look like crystals.

I haven't heard of anything like that.

If one of those things end up in the machine, would you be able to show me?

In return, I'd appreciate if you told me if you saw a blue crystal with a yellow flower inside of it from the machine.
