WEEK 2.
Adelina and Kyrie Ushiromiya are dead. Regardless of how you felt about them and whether or not you mourned their passing, life goes on. It seems the Wordsmith intends to make good on the rules he's left for you all. Saturday is given to regrouping and rest; on Sunday morning the clock chimes as it always has, but at least there are no bodies to find today. It seems you're safe for now. The night before wasn't necessarily a peaceful one, however; you'll probably feel a bit groggy when you wake up, and it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost... Either way, it seems there's nothing to do but move on - or, perhaps, move down. Another door in that holding area near the elevator seems to have opened up, leading into a corridor and a stairwell that seems to lead you somewhere beneath the dormitories, and eventually onto a new floor altogether. Go ahead and explore all you like; after all, you did well at completing your lessons this past week. |

[OOC: Welcome to week two of Trustfell! Feel free to make as many top levels as you'd like and tag out to other characters! This post is for all of your interactions this week... at least until the weekend. Don't forget to save those threads for coins and the activity check!
If you'd like to get in contact with the Wordsmith, you can do so through letters or the switchboard!]

[And, as much as he loves her, there... definitely is a kind of tone to his words when he talks.]

[Yeah, that's kind of hard to miss. Go on, Gold, talk to her.]

[... That's all.]

[You can't fool her.]

Gold leans more against the table, drawing Pokéballs on his sheet of paper.]
Why wouldn't I be happy for her? She's my best friend. I'm stoked that she's always gettin' important jobs from Oak, because they're usually boring ones I'd hate to do, and she's got a good heart that doesn't quit, she thinks a lot of the people around her... Crys is pretty much a perfect person, even if that ain't true and I know it.
[A huff.]
She's too serious and she's the kinda person that once she's got something in her mind she just won't quit, even if it's costin' her a few meals or worse. [... He's still sounding fond, notably, but...] And I swear, she's really annoying and naggy sometimes too, like she knows best! I know she trusts me, but damn if it doesn't feel like it!
[But this. Got a little off topic, he guesses, and taps the pen to make a collection of dots.]
Crys is hard workin', Silver's stubborn as hell too about that, and I'm usually havin' fun because I ain't got anything like what they do. [Goals. Responsibilities. People depending on them.] I'm havin' to enjoy youth for all three of us! Ain't that unfair? Sheesh!

I think, [she lays a gentle hand on the back of his, the one that's so adamantly freckling the paper,] there are all sorts of perfect people, for different paths. Hers isn't yours, nor is it Silver's, and that's alright, I think. If the three of you were all the same, maybe you wouldn't all get along so well.
[...]
Though children their age...should also enjoy their time. Maybe they depend on you to remind them to have fun, you know?
no subject
Well, that's definitely true. Those two don't know the true meanin' of fun unless I'm around.
[And... even if that's kind of a bullshit responsibility, he knows it's important for them to have someone that can drag them out of their usual stuff and make them relax, have fun, be their age-- stuff like that.
Gold glances at her, then glances away.]
... Thanks.

You're very welcome, Gold. [She'll remove her hand and give him one more pat on the head.] And, well. I can't say for Arceus, but I know I'm glad having you as a friend.
