A week's distance from the last death seems to have helped some of you, seems to have calmed things down somewhat; the presence of a new floor has helped a little in that endeavor as well – things are a little less claustrophobic, a little more open. Of course, for others things haven't been going as smoothly; between the odd dreams that you've all been experiencing and the Wordsmith's incentive, the added space may just be encouraging distance between you and your fellow Apprentices. It seems that only time will tell how things will progress from here. Friday morning comes, and with it comes the brightening of the lights throughout the University – though it seems there's something a bit wrong with the second floor in that regard. Namely, the workshop remains dark. That's probably going to be a problem. >Explore?

[...well, that was a lovely way to start the morning. Since she was already gonna go in the Lab anyway, she may as well just check it out to see what's up.

[First things first, you're going to want to be careful where you step. You're still wearing your heels, right?]

[It's definitely glass. There's only a few pieces of them near the door, but be careful anyway!

It does look like something happened in here, so where do you want to start looking: the table or the wall?]

[Lovely. That's gonna need a broom...

Let's go for the table first! Is there anything on top of it that's different than usual?]

[There is! It looks like someone was doing something here, since there's an empty beaker still sitting out next to one of the burners. Well, okay, it's mostly empty, but it looks like there's still some kind of residue inside it...]

[That is most certainly curious. Lusamine's going to get a closer look at the beaker, picking it up and swishing it around a bit. Is it going to move around? And what color does it seem to be? Or is it clear?]

[It does swish around a bit! There's not much left in the bottom, but it seems to be dark. It doesn't look poisonous or dangerous though, and you'll probably notice that it has a (presumably) familiar scent...]

[...is it really a good idea to sniff beakers. Is this what we're bringing ourselves to.

Hell with it, it could be important, and it's vaguely familiar, so it's likely not toxic. What does it smell like?]

[Tea! If Lusamine knows her teas, she'll be able to distinguish it as black tea. I don't know anything about tea so don't ask me what it smells like.

There's one more thing to find on this table, but if you've got other questions about the tea beaker I can answer them too!]

[Lusamine does indeed enjoy her tea and who the fuck does this to it. Seriously, Lusamine feels insulted looking at this.]

What wretched heathen puts tea in a beaker?

[...she's gonna put this down lest she feel inclined to add to the glass pile on the floor. Alright. Is this thing on top of the table as well, that's where Lusamine's gonna start.]

[That's a very good question. Who is this wretched heathen???

Anyway, the table top itself looks clean other than the tea beaker... but you'll probably notice something caught on the edge of the table.]

[Well, Lusamine's next order of business was walking around the table, and score! She's just going to try and pull that off--what is it? Can it actually be pulled off?]

[It can, but be careful! These white cloth fibers would be easy to lose!]

[ Mikazuki will probably start to look at the wall, while Lusamine takes the table. What is he going to be looking at, exactly? ]

[It looks like something hit the wall here, given the shards over on the floor here. They're not glass, they look more like porcelain.]

[ Well, that certainly is a thing.

If Mikazuki takes a closer look around the room, would he be able to find something else that was porcelain as well still remaining in the room besides the shards, or is there another point of interest that would stick out? ]

[Surprisingly, no. There isn't anything else in here that this porcelain could have come from. It's all relatively contained over near the wall here, too.]

[ Well then, that is certainly... odd. He'll just simply go back to see how Lusamine is doing in her investigation. ]

[ Well, it probably couldn't hurt to begin looking in here... after everybody had found the body and things had been taken care of, that is. Is there anything that stands out immediately once Mikazuki enters the room? ]
