Second.
| A week's distance from the last death seems to have helped some of you, seems to have calmed things down somewhat; the presence of a new floor has helped a little in that endeavor as well – things are a little less claustrophobic, a little more open. Of course, for others things haven't been going as smoothly; between the odd dreams that you've all been experiencing and the Wordsmith's incentive, the added space may just be encouraging distance between you and your fellow Apprentices. It seems that only time will tell how things will progress from here. Friday morning comes, and with it comes the brightening of the lights throughout the University – though it seems there's something a bit wrong with the second floor in that regard. Namely, the workshop remains dark. That's probably going to be a problem. >Explore? |

... But you know it did sound like there was some sort of kerfluffle in other parts of the university, so let's glance in the room and inside it. Check it out, you know? ]

. . . This mood is getting weird. Oh well, she reaches out to gingerly open the door ]

[She gives her a bit of a bow. Does she want to check inside it? She'll peek, but she won't quite open it. She'll wait for Elda to do it.]

[ A beat ]
Did something happen?

[She heard who it was, but she... just stayed away this time.]

Guess we're off to be gumshoes again.
[ This door takes on new relevance ]

[She... doesn't really want to do this, but she wants to be useful. It's a weird feeling.]

[ Now that she has it open ]

[ With her hand on the door ]

[No sense discussing it now.]

[ Let's swing it open and reveal stuff ]

...Now is when I warn you that you might not want to use your hands to pick them up.]

. . . She looks to Jasper (even as she's fiddling in her pockets for the thing in question) ]
So, do you burn?

My physical form is susceptible to damage.
[That's a yes.]

[ Looks to Estelle as if to ask "So what about you?" as she pulls... a pen? out of her pocket and starts fiddling with it ]

I-I have gloves, I suppose. But I'm not wearing them right now. [She's in her school uniform.]
And a few things from that contraption in my room. [That contraption being the vending machine.]

[ And she had now turned the pen into a fishing rod! And them, triumphant, he casts the fishing rod to try and hook the bandages!
... Clearly, the best plan ]

...And glass. The bandages definitely have glass shards in them, please be careful.]
no subject
Alright ladies, let's check it out!
[ And she's going to...
Set it on the ground in front of all of them. Let's open it up? Or start to try to ]

What is inside of it? Is that... glass?

She needs to suck on her finger ]
