As always, the trip is a smooth one; granted, after everything that the morning had been, any small comfort that fact may bring is likely not helping much. There's still no one present in the lectern above; however, once everyone has found their place in the circle, the Wordsmith's voice can be heard throughout the room. "I can see that matters are beginning to seem dire for you, Apprentices. I am sure that you all cared for Sympathetic in some measure—all except the guilty party. And now it falls to you once again to determine who that is. For your own sake as well as Sympathetic's, hold her killer accountable and have them take responsibility for their actions." Twenty-four Apprentices remain. We'll see how many remain at the end of the day.

Depends on what you mix it with.

The first things to come to mind are low-sensitivity. They're not going to just explode from the chemical reaction itself. You'd have to do something to it first. Drop it, throw it, kick it, whatever.

This was a really deliberate thing done by someone who wanted to see a few fireworks, is what I'm saying.

Although come to think of it, none of the lab equipment or the container itself was missing. Whoever used it may have transported it out of the room using something they brought in themselves.

If the explosion came from the chemical reaction and not the impact, sure. But the stuff we're talking about is low-sensitivity - it needs something else to kickstart it, because it's not too volatile on its own.

Assuming we're right about anything that went into this, that is. Like I said, it's not like I'd know.

Sorry, I only really know about cleaning chemicals, not other kinds of chemicals.
