It seems that each week is getting harder than the last. You've lost three of your number already this week, and that's before anyone seems to have tried to take the Wordsmith up on his offer – and from the look of it, the incentive has tempted quite a few of you, perhaps even more than the usual. But now, the week is coming to an end; maybe it's too much to hope for that it's passed without anyone killing one another. Maybe it isn't. Only time will tell. The chimes ring out, signaling the hour as they always do; the day seems reasonably normal, with the first three floors of the building seeming clear enough. However, those of you wishing to make absolutely sure may want to head a bit lower down. It's possible that you'll find nothing down there; the more jaded of you will probably suspect otherwise. Either way, there's no point in keeping the possibility open when you can confirm it for yourselves, is there? >Explore?

Anyway, Mikazuki probably will take a closer look at those burns. How bad are they? Do they look like standard burns from a normal fire, or something less standard (etc. chemical ones if he is able to tell that sort of thing). ]

[They look like they were caused by fire as opposed to something caustic like acid, yes. And they're...pretty bad. Not like "burned for several minutes" bad, but definitely not negligible either.]

Alright, he'll move on from those, and take a look at the other obvious physical injuries that may be present. What else may he be looking at here? ]

[It looks like at one point he may have sustained a hell of a head injury; it's positioned fairly low - at about the spot where the skull meets the neck, for reference.

However, it's difficult to tell how bad it is, because it looks like someone tried to bandage it at some point.]

[ ...Alright. So he wouldn't be looking too close at that at any rate it seems. This is...quite odd though.

He'll be looking at the man's body carefully for any other injuries as well or anything else notable. ]

[Are you actually touching him, or just looking things over?]

[ Looking him over. But, if that doesn't produce anything else, he would start probably touching along the arms before turning Kimbley over to see if he finds or discovers something else of note. ]

[...Well, when you go to move him you'll probably notice that ribs should definitely not feel like that. Like. At all.

If he like pokes or ...rubs at it, what are they feeling like, exactly? ]

[The center of his chest feels weirdly sunken-in, and trying to move him gets an odd noise that implies that there are possibly one or more fractures.

So they feel like they've been broken, in other words.]

[ That probably hurt. Like a lot...whatever kind of altercation he got into, that is. Or whatever in general.

Alright, Mikazuki will just...carefully continue to feel along him for anything more. Is he going to find anything else? ]
