[Anyway, in the dining room, there's plenty of mugs set out, with a janky looking arrow sign pointing into the kitchen to where you can get your hot cocoa. On the table, there's Vichyssoise, a pot of green tea, and some booze. There's also a cookie tray on the floor away from the table on which to burn the Wordsmith and Kimbley effigies, which are handily placed near the food on the table.

...also if you go in the kitchen without shoes on just. Watch the northern corner. There's no kidneys, but there's a lot of broken plates there for some reason...]

I see... Gold-kun had a really big personality. I'll miss having him around, too. I'm...I'm glad Silver-kun's here, though.

Yeah. I mean... Silver's definitely quieter, but he's a good guy. They both are.

[...he doesn't want to use past tense.]

Least his Pokemon are alright. It'd suck even more otherwise.

Oh, his Pokemon--are you taking care of them? Or is Silver-kun?

Silver is, yeah. Honestly, I mostly just look out for what's mine, so I'd probably be the last line after Lusamine and Silver... and well, Silver already knows 'em, so.

[introspects]

I see. I'm glad someone's looking out for them.

[ speaking of pokemon... ] So...did you know any of them before we wound up here, Guzma-san?

Just Lusamine, actually. Gold and Silver are from a pretty long boat ride away, and it sounds like they've never taken a vacation in Alola.

[introspects]

I see! What's Alola like? And where are Gold-kun and Silver-kun from?

[acherontiastyx]

Alola's an island archipelago that's become kind of a tourist trap, given that it's tropical and it has nice beaches. It's got some cool Pokemon, and... well, one of the biggest draws is something that's probably gonna be lost on someone who doesn't know Pokemon.

Anyway, Gold and Silver are from Johto, which is pretty far across the ocean to the west. I've never been, but I know enough about it to get it.

Oh, wow! It sounds like a place called Hawaii back where I'm from: it's the dream vacation spot for a lot of people in Japan! I guess you could say it's just as much as a tourist trap, too.

But...that's really cool, how you got to meet people from your world in a place that isn't your world, right?

[acherontiastyx]

...You know, I guess I'm really not surprised that there would be somewhere like it in another world, though I'd be interested in learning more about it just to know how deep the Bunnelby hole goes.

And yeah, I guess so. I think... the weird thing is, I'm kind of wondering if they're from my world or a world that's mine but a little different? I don't have much to go on, though, other than a few things they've said.

Ah, well, I've never been there before, but I can pretty much guarantee that there aren't any talking animals, haha!

Maybe... [ wait ] Do you think you guys are from different timelines?

[acherontiastyx]

Well, yeah, that's probably a given. I get that's probably... pretty rare.

...I... hm. Maybe? Maybe we are? I have no idea. Or it's just like. How we're all from different worlds, except some are less different than others.
