WEEK 5 Angela Ziegler, Nicholas Wilde, and Judy Hopps were all punished. Zolf J Kimbley was killed and Gold was executed. Five deaths in one week, the most you've seen so far. Will this ever end? Your number is rapidly dropping. Saturday is given to regrouping and rest; on Sunday morning the clock chimes as it always has, but at least there are no bodies to find today. It seems you're safe for now. The night before wasn't necessarily a peaceful one, however; you'll probably feel a bit groggy when you wake up, and it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost... Those checking to see whether another door in the stairwells leading downward have been opened will see that once again, you've been rewarded with a new floor; perhaps it's a shame that so many people had to die in order for you to receive it. Or perhaps it's a blessing from a certain point of view, given what almost happened on Thursday night; after all, your number could be much, much lower. APPRENTICES REMAINING: 18

Ah, what a good coincidence that there is!

But, I don't think Shadow will mess with the thing if we're just sticking stuff to the wall. We just have to not beat up or break the wall and we won't end up dead!

Good. I think that will be a wonderful way to practice, then...

[Just gonna duct tape a not!Kira to a wall and throw knives into him like some kind of deranged circus act.

Either way, Mikazuki will nod, examining their efforts with approval thus far. ]

You have quite the skill in sewing, Miss Lusamine. Did you have time to practice back home?

I dabbled in it just a bit when I was a young girl. I was lucky to be born into relative wealth. It allowed me the ability to try many things...mostly at my parent's insistence.

[It's not derisively said, at least.]

I did attempt to do something in here beforehand, to acclimate me to the machine in a way. I think making a pair of gloves has at least acclimated me to the machine, though there is always room for improvement.

Oh, I see, I see...I'm glad that you had the opportunity. I hope it was never even trouble for you, though.

[ And then he pricks himself with the needle, immediately taking it away to put the finger in his mouth for a bit. He looks ar. ]

...Ahh, it seems I've been quite careless.

As you say there is always room for improvement...

[--oh! Lusamine looks right over when Mikazuki pricks himself, wincing. That's never fun at all--]

Oh, of course it does. Are you alright, Mr. Munechika? You didn't puncture a vein, did you?

[ He takes the finger out of his mouth, and its only like bleeding a little. For someone who has looked over the bodies just once, there are just some things that have escaped him about being a human... ]

It doesn't look like it. I think all I would need is something to wrap around it.

Lusamine's expression looks utterly exasperated.]

It's a possibility, but...it doesn't look like you did. Be careful next time, won't you?

I will. I suppose even the tiniest things can be quite dangerous, if you are too careless with them, hahaha.

[ He'll be carefree as his usual self, at any rate... ]

I would have expected a warrior to be far more concerned with potentially breaking a vein.

[Still sounding utterly exasperated.]

[ ...He'll whistle innocently. ]

Well, you know what they say about worrying, it just makes more grey hairs...or something.

[ Actually, he'll never get grey hairs... ]

But! I'll try to be more careful next time.

...I do hope that you are not implying something.

[She tries very hard to make sure she won't get grey hair, goshdarnit. Her eyes narrow some.]

But good. The last thing anyone needs is to try and solve a case where the 'murder' weapon was a needle.

Oh, implying what?

[ He misses entirely what Lusamkne thinks he may be implying...because he's only thinking about himself getting grey hairs. ]

...It'd also be unfortunate if the needle was hidden in something like a haystack.

That worrying will give me grey hairs.

[...Mikazuki, she. She wonders about you sometimes, boy, but...

Goddammit, that gets her to laugh.]
