For some, it seems this week has been a welcome reprieve – after the pain of the last trial, the week itself has brought with it some vague degree of hope. Perhaps your friends are not truly gone; perhaps the bonds that have suffered between those still alive can be repaired, and the ones that hold fast can be strengthened. Furthermore, no one has died to the executioner this week. However, the incentive still exists as a possibility that some might want to explore; it's difficult to say, really, what with all the excitement the past several days have brought with them. As always, the chimes ring out to signal the hour; the day seems reasonably normal, though given that you've all established a pattern of terrible things happening on Fridays, you might want to check the building just to make sure, particularly the lower floors. You might want to be careful in those stairwells, though. Just saying. >Explore?

[ she steps up to varric's room quietly, shakily. she will not deny what she's seeing. after all these weeks, there's no running away from it--varric and viktor are gone.

just when they were getting leads, just when things were looking more hopeful, too. orihime sheds tears for them but doesn't break down like she would have before. she's trying so, so hard to keep it together, for the sake of doing the both of them justice. she cares so, so much for both of them, and she is utterly devastated.

[The chest would probably be a good place to look under normal circumstances, but there's something lying up against it that's a bit more important to look at.]

It is bloody though; you're looking at one of those war hammers from the machine. It looks like it wasn't cleaned up after it did... something, especially considering how much blood and uh... brain matter can be found on it. You miiiight want to be careful with that. Just saying.]

[ huh...a giant hummer? she hasn't seen any of these around but she's going to assume it's from the vending machine. the sheer amount of blood.....of course this would be the murder weapon.

but...she doesn't immediately recognize that as brain matter, just some part of the body that shouldn't be there. holy shit. okay. she feels sick to her stomach, but she's...she's fine.

okay. she's not going to take this along with her until after we're done...

[There's nothing else off about the chest and there's nothing wrong with the bed either, but you might notice that the door to the bathroom is open a crack...]
