Take Responsibility.
| The time allotted for this week's investigation passes fairly briefly, but not easily - what with the state of the body and the things that have been found, the mood is perhaps oddly sobering. Either way, eventually the elevator will be waiting for you at the exit of your floor of choice, bringing you up to the courtroom swiftly and easily. There are so few of you now. Two more portraits have joined the ranks of the dead, watching over the proceedings. Gangrel and Orihime's images watch over you with with eyes that see nothing, all colored in greyscale and set up on their places in the podium circle, black fabric draped over each setting. As always, the lectern remains empty and unaffected by what's happened here. After a while, however, once everyone has found their place in the circle, the Wordsmith can be heard addressing the group, voice audible throughout the room. "Sacrificing one to save many—that is ostensibly why Harmonious is no longer among you. Truly, that is the most pragmatic of options in a situation with no chance of victory. I may even come close to commending such a decision. But I must also wonder if the dead can be said to have been 'saved', when they have passed beyond your reach in all but mere messages. Unless you should wish to follow Harmonious and join them, hold the guilty accountable for their practicality." Eleven Apprentices remain. However many leave this place is up to you. |

[Yeah he's. Looking to Mikazuki now, and he's absolutely seething.]
You killed her. You took advantage of the fact that she wouldn't suspect you, that she would be relaxed around you.

You can accuse me if you want, but it's just empty words, isn't it? You have nothing to back your claim.

You love Killia, do you not?
[There's a point to this.]

I propose the theory that you killed Orihime because you could not bear the thought of him being erased.

[He'll try that first. He has more he could say, but first...]

[His words are remarkably gentle, way too gentle to be a proper accusation.]
You care deeply about Killia and Gangrel. Like the rest of us, you could have done this. There are a million reasons to keep what happened from us until now, so I'm not even getting into that.
[...But with that said-]
I don't want to push you. Please, just tell us what happened.

[Whoops he's yelling now.]
There's more than enough proof here, and I'm not going to put up with that 'prove it's me' crap this time! I will shove you in that pit myself if I have to!
no subject
[Yeah, he's getting that snapped in his direction.]
Refrain from acting brashly. I sincerely doubt she would want you to join her on that side.

If you push him in, you will be the one accountable.

You can yell at him, if you want, Watanuki, but he will stand there smiling instead. ]

Silver is the only one still between the two of them so.]

Yeah he's going to try punching Mikazuki in the face.]

Calm the hell down. I'm not losing you today.

[Yeah no, Hanyuu's gonna leave her podium and stroll around to try and be an extra barrier. None of this today, not at all.]

Let go of me! He deserves it!

[Her voice... cracks more this time as if she's trying not to cry.]
Did you lie to me about making sandwiches and cake next week.
[She looks to him now, tears filling her eyes.]
Tell me the truth.

I'm glad that you didn't have to fight anyone.
