[That's the note that gets slid under everyone's doors after such a somber and saddening trial; it's not like it's going to be a big ordeal anymore given how few of them there are, but that doesn't mean that they should spend it alone.

The location of their setup is the greenhouse! ...The greenhouse has had a new addition; there is a massive blanket fort set up using an absurd amount of rope, blankets, and duct tape. The blankets span across three trees to make a considerable amount of space roughly shaped like a triangle for them to hang out under. Under the fort is a small pile of scissors taken from the sewing and art rooms. Next to them are a couple of flower crowns. They're relatively simple and don't involve many different flowers, but they're good examples of what the pile of scissors are there for.

There's also food, of course; a blanket is laid out on the floor with a large set of plates, a massive amount of eggs and rice, some of Elda's spicy fries, and... Sandwiches. Jasper's made everyone sandwiches, and the sandwiches are absolutely absurd in size due to how many cold cuts she's stacked into them. But don't worry! They aren't all meat. There's a lot of mustard, too. Luckily, they're still of a reasonably edible size.]

None that I have actively taken. Now that I see how fun it is, I regret it quite a bit.

[Lusamine will place Hanyuu's creation on her head, beaming. It's a little silly with the other crown, granted, but she likes it.]

To be able to create such beautiful things...really, this was an excellent idea to pursue. To be able to create such bright, colorful things in this dreary life is quite wonderful.

Aah, well, it was mostly thanks to Silver and Jasper. The idea came up and they planned most of this. ...At one point, I thought I'd never see it, the two of them working together, to help everyone else. I think that makes it even better.

[After everything that happened with Kimbley, at least. But still...]

I would have never taken them for the type. It's strange how you get to know such different sides to people here, is it not? It makes new facets of their personality come out.

...The Wordsmith seems to think only the worst parts of people come out in dire situations. Or...that the ugly parts that emerge, that those are the most true.

[She pushes some hair behind an ear, brushing against Alani's flower.]

But the two of them- and moments like this, they prove otherwise. The ugly parts of a person are still them...but there's more, nearly every time. This place...I think it proves that, even more.

...Then he is completely, utterly, and irrevocably wrong.

[It's stated with the utmost seriousness. She knows what she's saying, and it isn't just in spite of the Wordsmith.]

There is always more to a person than what you see of them. You're utterly blind if you think otherwise, and if this man holds such a hideous belief, anything he gleans from this is already biased.

[Ah- how angry she gets- Hanyuu starts, but really she doesn't...blame Lusamine, not at all.]

He is. That's what I can tell from what he's said to me. ...Really, he didn't in so many words say only ugly sides arise, just... It's the attitude he gives off. [She frowns.] He...said though there are shades of gray, people are mostly black, or mostly white. And that he's seen humanity at its cruelest more often than not.

Really, he... He gave his reasoning of people showing their "truest" selves as a response to my disregarding this entire exercise.

[Ugh. Lusamine shakes her head at that.]

He could do with an attitude adjustment, then.

[That's...all she really wants to say in regards to that, and Lusamine looks at everyone else before speaking again.]

I would say that we have all done our best, haven't we? In spite of these circumstances. The fact that we can do this much...that is solid proof in that direction.

I do too. ...Really, things could have gone much worse from the very beginning, and the places we could be...

[She gently shakes her head.]

I've seen many worse worlds. We are...united, against him. That makes this better already.

...this could have all been over in an instant, if we had not risen to the circumstances.

[Against Kyrie. Against Alani. Against Kira. Against Gold and Silver. Against...all of them, really.]

We must not allow ourselves to stray. To do so for a moment...it would allow him to win.

[Ah... For a moment, Hanyuu hesitates, but-]

...I am...sorry for the scare, back there, by the way. I won't waver anymore, not when we all must stand together.

...You're not allowed to worry us all like that again.

[--Ah, that was--a little too hard, let's dial it back a bit.]

What I mean is...you are as precious to us, as we are to you. Even if I do not know you as well as the others, this place would be far worse without the love of a goddess among us. You have made such an incredible impact, and you are needed. Wanted, even. Please do not forget that.

I...have a hard time remembering such a thing, but...I will strive to do so. Every one of us is necessary...I am necessary.
