WEEK 9 The only two deaths this past week were due to rule violations; Bruce Wayne and Kimihiro Watanuki have joined the deceased. The deceased, however, still seem to be among you - that is, if Noir is to be believed. Either way, one thing is clear: for the first time in two months, a week has passed where no one has murdered. With no trial, Saturday is relatively quiet. On Sunday morning the clock chimes as it always has, but at least there are no bodies to find today. It seems you're safe for now. The night before wasn't necessarily a peaceful one, however; you'll probably feel a bit groggy when you wake up, and it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost... Once again, there are no new floors available to you; is this a good sign, or just claustrophobic? Either way, the air has been seeming a little heavier nowadays, despite the lack of murder - but who knows, maybe it's all in your head. APPRENTICES REMAINING: 8

Things are different now, and Guzma kind of actually understands what was going on with Lusamine there... but it still feels kind of... not great. On the other hand, though... holy shit. Lillie owns.

But you know, that leads to the question of "what the heck do I do today." He really doesn't know. It was weird to have a quiet weekend, even if people still died. Kind of.

...well, first off. While he's actually making some edible, not-burnt, kind of good eggs for breakfast in the kitchen, he thinks a bit and puts a note on the fridge.]

hey. yo. does anyone know where we should put ziska? i've been kinda holding on to her but it feels kinda weird to just keep a book girl in your room.

[...ah, right, and he slips a copy under Elda's door because she doesn't use the kitchen.

Right. So. After that... he ends up in the art room painting some kind of abstract, purplish landscape covered in crystals, because he kind of wants to see if he can just... get it out of his head. He doesn't want to draw any Nihilego or anything because screw that, but... hm. It's still bothering him.

Well, anyway, he did promise, so. Time to head to the conference room.]

I would say we should keep her in the Foyer, but then there would be a risk Kageshirou would collect her at night. Perhaps you could put her somewhere in the morning and collect her at night?

i was thinking one of the tables in one of the libraries actually. maybe the upstairs one. she can be among her people.

[...well that memory was disorienting as hell and felt entirely out of place--Lusamine intended to come in to the art room to mess around a bit, but when she sees Guzma painting, she...pauses a bit.

I did not take you to be one for painting. Is there any reason you decided to chose to paint that?

Um... no. You... kind of fused together with Nihilego and became the final boss of a Kirby game. It was some wild stuff.

[and kind of hot, admittedly.]

And then the eleven year old with the face beat you in a Pokemon battle and her... Lunala or whatever blocked you when you tried to attack yourself and then it unfused you? I don't know. I was not having an easy time comprehending that stuff because it was too crazy for me.

[...you know, if this were a few weeks ago, she'd be fucking elated? Like this would be a scientific miracle. A human and Pokemon, bonding as one, but...]

I...tried to attack myself? [She's...not sure what meaning she's supposed to take from that--if something happened to her, or if she...]

...Perhaps...it was for the best that I did not remember. I don't remember a thing beyond attempting to fuse with Nihilego.

And then after you unfused from Nihilego Lillie and you had a moment, but then you passed the heck out? I don't know. You were out.

[Holy shit. Okay. She...could attempt to accept the fact that she was an incredibly hideous mother to her children. She'd been willing to justify it for so long. It was all for Nihilego, right? It was all for that precious creature who deserved a world that wasn't so cold. And before that, it was all for Mohn--so they could be a family again. She could go back to normal once her family was back, safe in her eyesight and never leaving again. Ever again. But it became for something else...for a beautiful world. A world for herself and that creature, so she never had to leave again. She didn't care about anything else. A world where the only thing that existed were her and that creature, and...

That, however...that's horrible. Utterly horrible. And she can't remember a single thing.

...Lusamine looks down after that's all said and done, and the words she utters are a little blank. Maybe being on the jellyfish juice made things easier, but...]
