Final Investigation.

The Wordsmith's message earlier this week was an ominous one; try as one might, it's difficult to ignore completely, especially with such few details provided to the group. "The end" is such a vague description; however, it does mean one thing, and that's the promise that all of this will come to a close, one way or another. He's promised you one other thing, however – that being that the only way to leave the building is by way of Rule Seven. The chimes ring out, as they always do, on Friday morning; a thorough check of the building will bring with it the realization that no one has died as of last night. There are no bodies to be found in any of the rooms; Kageshirou remains in the foyer, but in general it doesn't seem that anything has changed. However, it's plain that you're all getting restless, and perhaps understandably so; there's only one thing to do in that sort of circumstance, isn't there? After all, you've gotten good at this game; you know what happens on Fridays around here. There are a lot of places to check; just as a bit of advice, you might want to start on the lowest floor first. Other than that, however? You're on your own. Best of luck to you. >Explore?

That said, a lot of it is just...lying around, piled in corners or propped against the walls; some of it just looks broken, but some of it looks like weaponry of some sort.

So we've got a bunch of things going on with the metal, and a bunch of things going on with the one of the tables in here. Where are we going first, guys?]

Somewhere in the middle Elda's probably going to come across a piece of paper wedged into the back of one of the pews.

But while Hanyuu's up front, she might notice something a little strange - there are candles already set up in the front and there's something off about them.]

Looks like there's a lot in this room. Do you want to take a look at something in particular?

[Oh, well once those catch her eye- what's going on with those candles? Are they lit?]

[ She'll attempt to get at it! Anything written on it? Is it similarly scorched like the rest of this? ]

[It looks like this one contains notebooks! Don't get your hopes up though, they're blank.]

The table itself looks a little rough - it's definitely seen better days - but it's reasonably clear of metal, at least in the center; both of these things aren't enough to obscure the design in the center of it. It's dark, like it's been burned into the wood.]

[They're not, but it looks like they were recently. There are some non-lit candles here, but the majority of them seem to have been lit at some point. There are some that were obviously recently lit, and others that look like they were lit at another point in time.]

Lusamine's gonna go elsewhere, though, while keeping a close eye on Silver--there's gotta be a trunk in this room, right? Is there, or is there not?]

[No complaints there, so she'll take a closer look at the metal strewn about the room.]

[Like someone was having a service, maybe... Anything else strange about them? If not, Hanyuu's going to look around this raised area a bit more.]

[There doesn't seem to be, actually! But while you're looking around you'll notice that there's a bookshelf and a cabinet.]

[ . . . You know she doesn't have her handwriting chart on her but does it look familiar at all? Maybe to the various notes she's gotten back from Wordsmith before now?

Either way, she holds it in her hand and sort of flips it around before heading more up towards the front. ]

[Nope, nothing else off about the candles. What exactly are you looking for here?]

[...He flips through them to see if there's anything in them, and upon finding nothing, well. He'll pull out his sharpie.]

[A lot of it looks like scrap, as was mentioned before, and a good amount of it is in disrepair; however, some of it also looks like it may have been an attempt at handles and the like - the sort of thing you'd find on weaponry, as opposed to sculptures or practical noncombat things.]

Silver, dear--when you're done over there, can you check the bookshelf out? I'll take this cabinet.

[And so she will--can she get inside of the cabinet? What's inside, if it can be made out? ...is there glass on the doors or is it solid wood actually, that's important.]
