Second.
| Friday dawns fairly quietly this week; unlike last week, there's no blood splashed around the hallway, and there's very little that seems amiss at first glance. It's almost enough to make one think that nothing happened last night – that maybe the incentive was ignored, that maybe rational-minded camaraderie may have won out over the desire to escape the Vault. That impression will last you until somebody decides to head upstairs. They won't get past the stairwell without noticing that something is definitely amiss - while there notably does not appear to be a body, that doesn't mean that something isn't there regardless. You might want to check that out. Just saying. >Explore? |

Well, that might be important.
[Sigrun's going to pick it up and swing it a little, testing its weight and missing her own gun and dagger. But this would definitely take out a few trolls. Maybe she'll keep it.
Anything else?]

... Though she has no idea what this dust could be, so she's going to lick it. What's it taste like.]

As he comes down though he sees Sigrun and... what she has.]
Captain Eide?

Doctor! I've got a good nose for weapons, apparently, because there's dust on this one that tastes just like rock.
[please don't inquire.]

[That is more of a rhetorical question. Mouri approaches, eyeing the sledgehammer]
Interesting. I don't remember seeing sledgehammers in the storage room, all hammers I saw there came from the tool kits.
[Or...you could just not have seen them before, Mouri]

[And it's a nice earthy taste??? So it's nice.]
We'd have to ask the girls in charge of storage if there's anything amiss from there now, buuuut otherwise chances are something this big came from the machine we all love and hate.
[It's such a nice weight..!!]

None of the lists Lynne-san and I received had sledgehammers included anywhere nor we got notified afterwards about obtaining one of those.
On the other hand we didn't get that many lists either, so it isn't like the culprit told us they had a sledgehammer from that machine.
[Yeah, since...all they got was two lists and Stan's verbal weapon description the cataloging plan was more or less a failure. At least Mouri has already put Sigrun, Bruce and Stan in his innocent people list, so...yay, progress?]
With some luck somebody saw somebody else obtain a sledgehammer from the machine, but I wouldn't count on that.
This will have to be solved in the debate.

[Still, it's a pretty weighty weapon, so someone's either gonna have to have some muscles to swing it or blindly throw it around.]

Uh--great. [Sorry Sigrun, he's still sort of reeling. It sort of takes a moment before it sinks into him entirely.] Wait, what?
[He's definitely noticing the sledgehammer that she's holding now.]

It tastes like it hit a rock. So, I guess that means it probably smashed its target pretty well?

[Although pearls are pretty tough to break, but then--its not like Bruce is very well-versed in this branch of science.
Okay, Banner, focus. Weird alien biology aside, somebody's still dead.]
Where did you find that sledgehammer?
no subject
Right over here. It's pretty heavy, nothing I can't carry and swing, but I've got muscle on me. [holla holla]
no subject
No, he's probably thinking too much.]
...I suppose we'll need to bring that for what happens next, then.
[The trial, he means.]

[... Listen, she knows her weapons.]
Oh, can you check around for any damages to the walls and stuff? I can't imagine that they would've gotten so many lucky shots no matter what they're like.
no subject
[They're here to solve (another) murder, not cause (another) one.]
But sure, he can go and check the walls. Probably once he goes to do that thing he said he would with Mettaton.]
I'll do that after I help Mettaton clear up the fragments upstairs.

[They can all take turns letting out frustrations or something.]
But alright, thanks. I'm gonna go catch everyone up and let them know to expect another round of the floorless floor.

Not a problem. Thank you for your help as well, Captain Eide.
