[That certainly did happen. Cherryblod's not the type of person who will judge one person's value as being more than another's, so he can't say whether it was better or worse than the first week. It came as less of a shock, maybe, but even so...

It's not the kind of thing people usually want to go through alone.

[Those arriving in the dining hall will find an assortment of food - a fair number of sandwiches and other, actual meal-like options since most people missed a meal or two, but also a goodly number of desserts. There's tea, as well as coffee for those who favor it.]

[ Thanks for the invitation to just take some, Cherryblod, he'll be doing just that and taking everything... well, the sensible choice would be back to his room, but he'll end up thinking if he's there with nothing to do.

So, as he's been doing the past few days, Black and his maidenly carry-on bag make their way over to the first aid room to pick up bandages for his fingers, before he settles for good in the sewing room. At least he has food this time, which he picks every time he takes a break from his work.

Black's keeping his hands busy sketching out and cutting up pieces of fabric--there's a number of different colors littered around him, along with a lot of ribbon. He switches between hand-sewing things and using the machines available, only stopping when things start to take shape to grab some stuffing.

...he's making teddy bears for the people they've already lost. They're not going to be the best looking bears ever--actually, they're probably going to be a little misshapen and definitely not consistent or uniform--but as long as they're recognizable, that's good enough. It's an apology in his own way, because he knows he hasn't been the easiest person in the courtroom to deal with.

At some point before the kitchen gets locked up, he'll come back down to wash his plate and carry what he's managed to finish back to his room. In his bag, of course; no sneaking peeks if you just catch him in the hallway or if he stops by your room. ]

[ Coincidentally, the last place Yato talked to Caren was the sewing room, so maybe that's why he's gravitated here as well. And being the nosy guy he is, of course he feels the need to check out what black's doing. ]

... Stuffed animals? They're pretty cute! They have, uh... unique charm.

[ ....thanks, Yato, now he's lifting the Kamukuma Kamuibear he's working on to squint at it. ]

Thanks? [ Back to work...! Zagibear is finished, mostly. It needs more finishing touches. ...Mermaid Care Bear Carenbear and Pearlbear are looking pretty sorry right now, not even stuffed!!

god the clothes are the only nice looking things on them. ] I've never made one before tonight in my life, so I think I have to take that as a compliment.

It is definitely a compliment! [ So he says. More importantly... ] Y'want some help with them?

[ He gets it if not; people cope in different ways. But Yato wouldn't mind having something to keep him a little busy tonight. ]

I... yes, I would. [ Yato's either gonna be better than him at this or he's gonna be on the same level as him, there's no possible way he could be worse. ] I'd like them to look acceptable, at least, especially since I was thinking of, er... giving them out or setting them up somewhere.

Don't worry, I'll put in my all. The great delivery god Yato has many talents, you know! [ He doesn't remember it yet, but he even made his fancy ass clothes... ] How about I stuff 'em and stitch them up, and you can take care of the personal effects?

[ ...look he still doesn't know how much of the god thing he believes, but okay. ]

Sounds good to me. [ At least some of these bears will look nice... ] Have you sewn a lot?

[ Aqua's obviously noticed some people missing--so she makes her way around the vault. She's packed a basket of different food and drink; she has to make sure everyone is eating and keeping hydrated.

She spots him in the sewing room, and she can't help but smile slightly. ]

They're cute. I think they'd like them.

[ ...you know he sort of came into the sewing room with hopes that no one'd want to go looking for people, but he's actually sort of happy to see Aqua. Mostly because earlier in the week, he'd been thinking about asking for her help on the whole stuffed animal making thing.

Even if he... didn't really think he'd get sought out. He should know better. ]

You don't need to be nice, I know they're not the best. [ A for Effort though, clearly. ]

[ Shirazu considers just... staying in his room for the rest of the day, but eventually he gravitates to the sewing room so he can aggressively make those bunnies. It'll give his hands something to do, and it's better than just staring at the ceiling for the next few hours. ]

[ He can join the "aggressively sewing" club Black's starting next week. ]

Teddy bears. [ ......... ] They don't look like it, but they're going to be teddy bears. Hopefully.

Yeah. [ no accidents here! ] Sort of like a memory thing, I guess? Not that I think we'd forget them that easily, but...

[ ...he hums, not really sure where to go after that, though he manages to remember something Misa said and chuckles softly. ]

Besides, if ghosts do exist, they'll have something to possess that aren't pens.

[Bruce's busying himself with cleaning up too when he sees Black coming in, and of course he recalls the words they had between each other down there during the whole... thing. It's obvious that he and Black have incredibly different views on several things - which he's more than alright with, of course - but with how he keeps distancing himself after that...]

I can wash that for you, if you'd like.

[It's not much but its the best way Bruce can put across as an apology for now, if Black wants to take that.]

[ Last week was just because of his upset stomach--this week is because this is twice it's been a twin for the sake of their twin, and... look, he's a twin. He hasn't hidden that at all.

And he hasn't really hidden the fact that he'd do anything to keep White safe a secret either.

It's logical for him to think that the others might start being wary of him, and obviously the best way to make sure that doesn't happen is... spending time by himself, because that's not suspicious as fuck. (Really, he just doesn't want to see their looks. He's not ashamed of the lengths he'd go for White, but he's never liked being looked at, either.) ]

Oh-- [ The offer catches him off-guard; he hesitates, but holds out the plate anyway. ] Thank you. I appreciate the offer, Mr. Banner.

[ Even if they don't generally get along in the courtroom--not that Black gets along with anyone down there, really. ]

...I'm sorry about earlier, down there. [ He means what he said and he's sticking to his values, but--being on good terms with everyone is important too. ] We just can't seem to agree on anything when we get to our podiums, can we?

[Bruce smiles as he takes the plate from Black, putting it with the sink with the others. He's content to let the silence hang between them, but then Black apologizes.]

It's perfectly alright. [He glances over to the other and gives him a small smile, and one that is hopefully reassuring.] All of us have our own experiences and reasons to believe what we believe. There's nothing wrong with that.

[And Bruce is well aware of how different his experiences really are - so using them to try and justify anything would be unfair.]

[ Black returns the small smile, feeling a little better. ]

It's what make this place so lively to stay in, isn't it. [ ...it reminds him of home, sort of. There's a thought he hadn't thought he'd ever have. ] I hope we can find a better compromise than "agree to disagree" at some point though, even if that's not a bad middle ground for the moment.

Everyone has their own values and beliefs. That isn't going to change, despite the situation. [And it would be foolish to try and force anybody to change against their will - Bruce knows this well.]

Maybe we will find a better compromise, or perhaps we won't; what's more important is that we can all try our best to keep an open mind no matter what.

[To understand each other despite their differences... that's the real thing.]

That's a really nice idea. Are you going to put them somewhere special?

[She can at least tell that they're supposed to be the dead. Maybe not the bear part perfectly on the two flat pearlbears though.]
