The first floor seems largely fine today; at the very least, there are no signs of a scuffle or a body lying around. It might be good to make sure that the upper floors have fared so well. [There are discolored areas in places of the room - nothing so blatant as a legitimate pool of blood, but there are traces of something dark on the floor here and there.

The edges of it are dark enough to get a good idea of exactly how much blood was spilled in here - and judging by the diameter, the answer is (to put it in very scientific terms) a fucklot.
