None of us feel like celebrating, but I think Yato would approve if we don't spend the night hiding out because of him
There's warmed up food in the Game Room if you're hungry. Might be best to not be alone tonight.

[He sighs, finally sitting more upright]

It wouldn't make me happy.

[Not that he wants to think of the possibility of dying... but he knows he's been lucky so far- and luck is his dump stat. Still, he offers something like a smile... though it has that sharp unhappy edge it did when he was joking with Black before]

Mettaton might enjoy it though.

[The conversation with Mettaton didn't go well.]

[He shivers, remembering when he shoved Yu out of the way or those grasping dead hands

I know. I wouldn't want to leave anyone sad.

Good. I'd be mourning you for longer than humans even live.

[He sighs again and just... slumps, resting his head on his arms.]

[He reaches out, clasping Cherry's shoulder- the knowledge that Mettaton was that close to getting killed can't be easy to digest]

I don't know Mettaton as well as you do, but... I bet if you argue with him he'll just dig those heels in harder out of spite.
