None of us feel like celebrating, but I think Yato would approve if we don't spend the night hiding out because of him

Just about the same. [ ...the execution was messy, Yato was someone he looked spending time with, Mion too... She'd been interested in learning to sew a few things with him.

Things hurt, and he was sort of expecting them to (because they'd hurt, vaguely, the other times), but not... quite like this. ] Yato told me that gods reincarnate if they have enough believers. If enough people remember them and know who they are. Do you think that applies here?

It's not really far fetched. We... should all make our wish while we can.

...what are the wishes supposed to be like? I've never really... I mean, I prayed to God a few times when I was younger [ and boy did that fall out of his life pretty fast the past three years ] but... I don't think it's really the same.

I don't really know any Christian prayers, but it's really more like asking for a favor more then praising the god. That's what the offering is for.

You can ask God for favors too, but there's no physical offering, just... an understanding that He's the only one you'll follow. [ ...it's weird talking about religion, so Black makes a better effort to eat just so he has something to do that isn't... that while he tries to work out some better topic.

...it doesn't work too well, so he leans back and sighs. ] My family wasn't really religious to begin with, but I've met enough things in Hellsalem's Lot City to think that there might not be anything out there at all. I mean, Yato existed, but... How do I put it?

No, I get you. I'm not really religious but it's different.

[Being 'vaguely Shinto' is pretty different then this. That more culture then anything.]

It's hard to think of over arching good when so much crazy shit is out there.

I wanna say something like 'meeting you all'. I'm pretty sure that's what I'm supposed to say.

Kind of, but... I'd agree. Circumstances aside, it's been nice meeting everyone.

And there's never a dull moment here either, is there? [ Someone's always doing something. (And sometimes that thing is murder, but let's not go there.) ] It's actually not so bad... locked room mystery and Battle Royale mish-mash aside.

We'd have to be outside for that, wouldn't we? [ epilogue montage of idiots at the beach........... ]

Or a indoor pool. Honestly I wouldn't even be surprised anymore if we open up a floor and it's sandy.

That'd be a nightmare to clean up after. [ Sand... everywhere.... even on floors it shouldn't be. ] I wouldn't mind a pool, and I'm sure Mr. Cherryblod would lo-- [ ........


............. ] Would Mr. Cherryblod even be able to swim in one of those? [ Wouldn't it have chlorine. Does chlorine kill shrimp. ]

He seemed pretty excited about a pool when we talked about it- but I dunno if he's ever seen a public pool or not.

I couldn't swim much either, it'd react bad with the my coloring.

[He tugs at his bangs to accent his point]

Maybe by the time we get a pool you won't have to worry about that.

You'll look fine, Yosuke, don't worry. [ ...even if you'll also sort of look like a creme brulée. ] Maybe we'll get a salon next floor.
