...just the dead people. [ It does sound sort of insensitive, doesn't it. ] I don't mind making them for people who are still living, but I thought it'd be a nice way to remember them.

[ And on the off chance ghosts exist here like they do in Gabriel's world, they'll have an object to possess, the way that author's spirit does in the nolo pens. ...that's just a joke, he's really here for the sentimental thing. ]

...Honestly, it's a pretty charming way to remember people. I don't know if it'd be the way I'd do it, but... it really does do a good job of bringing the good times to mind instead of the bad times, doesn't it?

...You know, in this context, I don't really know. It's not like we can build any other kinds of memorials here... back home, I'd probably consider commissioning a nice little memorial for a grave, but that's about it.
