Friday morning starts as all mornings in the Vault do. The klaxons sound off at seven in the morning; some awaken easily, some don't, but the point remains that for better or worse, everyone has to leave the room they were sleeping in eventually. A few will be spared from the immediate knowledge that something is amiss – those whose rooms are tucked away in the corners of the dorms and don't have a clear view of the hallway may get a few seconds' peace of mind. However, as soon as the main hallway is visible it becomes obvious that something isn't right. It isn't like the first week, where the blood was contained to the far end of the building. This time, the blood starts in the dormitory hallway. It looks like it's starting near one of the dormitory rooms toward the middle of the floor. >Explore?

[So that's a lot of blood.

Anything else stand out other than a ton of blood?]

[So much blood. Strangely, it seems to actually be a trail... And it's not going towards Megumi's room.]

[To the incinerator room, correct? That's suspicious as heck. Does the trail match up with something being dragged or was someone dripping blood all the way there?]

[It's difficult to tell, but it's probably not anything being dragged.]

[Noted. Is there anything else at all on the first floor?]

[trustharder]

[Nope, Yosuke's found the blood trail leading upstairs so the rest of the hallway is clear!]

[Yosuke is a little late coming out of his corner room, so he misses the body being found. One glance and a flash of bright hair is enough to tell him who it is.

Don't dwell on it. Don't look too long. Instead he decides to try and back track the blood trail while the others investigate the corpse]

[Good call! It looks like it's heading toward the incinerator room.]

[Yep, trotting down the hall, looking for anything else before hitting the incinerator room]

[trustharder]

[Nothing else out of the ordinary, nope.

But once you reach the incinerator room you'll notice that the blood trail doesn't end here. There's more blood leading toward the stairs.]

[Okay, calm. What would Naoto look for?

He stops chasing the trail, taking a moment for see if the trail looks like it's coming FROM the stairs toward the dorms and incinerator or TOWARDS them-

basically if Megumi was dragged to her room, or the killer was dragging something else AWAY from their victim. It should be thicker near the start, he assumes]

[It doesn't look like anything was dragged, but it's a bit hard to tell. You should be able to tell that the trail was leading away from Megumi's room and toward the incinerator room, then up the stairs.]

[Got it, up the stairs we go!

Don't slip in the blood and fall down the stairs and die Yosuke]

[The only other thing you'll find here is that the blood trail leads to the bar. Otherwise the hallway's all clear, unless you have other questions.]
