Friday morning starts as all mornings in the Vault do. The klaxons sound off at seven in the morning; some awaken easily, some don't, but the point remains that for better or worse, everyone has to leave the room they were sleeping in eventually. A few will be spared from the immediate knowledge that something is amiss – those whose rooms are tucked away in the corners of the dorms and don't have a clear view of the hallway may get a few seconds' peace of mind. However, as soon as the main hallway is visible it becomes obvious that something isn't right. It isn't like the first week, where the blood was contained to the far end of the building. This time, the blood starts in the dormitory hallway. It looks like it's starting near one of the dormitory rooms toward the middle of the floor. >Explore?

[Seeing as the blood trail leads up here, Sigrun's keen to see who the hell screwed with her third favorite place.

... And with Misa already being here, she'll keep an eye on her too. Can't let her soft spot feel too alone in a room with a scuffle.

Are any of the bottles broken? More importantly, if they are, were they full.]

[This place is a wreck. Chairs are knocked over and there are definitely shards of bottles all over the place, as for whether or not they were full... well, uh, this place smells a little strongly so. Probably.]

WHAT DID THE BEER EVER DO TO YOU.

Besides assist you in the crime, apparently. So chairs are knocked over, bottles wrecked, alcohol wasted... All classic signs of someone getting a little too rowdy. Now, Sigrun's not sure that Megumi would ever drink in the first place, but that's not the important part here.

Is it clear or not that the fight started here, judging by how the blood leads around. They always have such trouble pinning this down in court.]

[That's just it, actually - the only blood in the room is on the thing Misa's looking at and toward the entrance of the room.]

... So what Misa's looking at is, probably, the murder weapon.

Okay, okay. She'll hop over the counter. Anything unusual here? Like, anything at all. Literally anything.]

[Nope. Surprisingly, there's nothing strange going on back here besides some missing bottles that have been presumably smashed on the ground.

Oh, the noisepress. After getting the murder weapon from Misa, she'll go over and check it out, sure. Last week she was busy making sure there was nothing stuck in the one a floor down, so... Sigrun'll press a few keys to see how this one sounds.]

[Well, it uh... isn't really in a condition to be played... It's been beaten up badly, in fact it looks like it's nearly broken in half.]

I didn't even really like this thing, but I wouldn't have beat it up. Someone's got a serious grudge against music. Or something.

[As long as her lyre is fine she is okay. Alright, so, investigating the noisepress:

It's clear there's no way that this knife would've done it, and seeing as the only blood is on said knife and near the entrance, this is probably where someone was slammed down... or something was slammed onto it trying to get at Megumi.

What's on the piano? That could've possibly broken it.]

[It's not clear how it was broken or what happened here, exactly. But boy did something happen.
