Friday morning starts as all mornings in the Vault do. The klaxons sound off at seven in the morning; some awaken easily, some don't, but the point remains that for better or worse, everyone has to leave the room they were sleeping in eventually. A few will be spared from the immediate knowledge that something is amiss – those whose rooms are tucked away in the corners of the dorms and don't have a clear view of the hallway may get a few seconds' peace of mind. However, as soon as the main hallway is visible it becomes obvious that something isn't right. It isn't like the first week, where the blood was contained to the far end of the building. This time, the blood starts in the dormitory hallway. It looks like it's starting near one of the dormitory rooms toward the middle of the floor. >Explore?

[Well, that was a nice attempt to try and roll back to sleep after the morning alarm.

...And as he'd expected, he was woken back up by more klaxons a few minutes afterwards anyway. At least he didn't have to see her body this time.

Cherryblod takes one look at the blood outside Megumi's room and heads in the opposite direction - to the incinerator room. Maybe someone stuffed a sword in here again.

First off, anything immediately noticeable?]

Is the incinerator on?]

[It is. Please don't touch it!!]

[He wouldn't! He's just going to turn it off first thing.

He can open it up and see if there's anything in there once it's cooled down a bit.

In the meantime, is anything else out of place in the room itself?]

[trustharder]

[There is, but it's not immediately obvious. Any place you want to start looking?]

[Things I don't really know about: whatever is in an incinerator room. Does it have other furniture? Is it just an empty room aside from a big old furnace? Does it have feelings about the future?

In absence of me knowing what the heck is in there, he'll start checking around the walls.]

[Well, it probably doesn't have any feelings since it is just a room. There are a few other things in here, however - the punching bag Stan set up, a trash can, the incinerator itself, a chair so you can wait while your stuff is burning...

The walls are clear, however.]

[Okay, alright. Is anything in the trash?]

[There is! Candy wrappers...? Yep, those are definitely candy wrappers.]

[...Candy wrappers. Huh.

Well, he'll take some of those. They might be evidence.

Is that incinerator cool enough that he can open it up and take a look inside yet? Because he'll be here until it is, basically.]

[Not yet, unfortunately. You're not done though; you might want to try looking down.]

...Is it blood.]

...More specifically, it's some blood on the floor near the punching bag Stan set up.]

[Things that do not generally bleed: punching bags. Unless Stan is really, really into realism.

Is there anything weird about the punching bag, while we're at it? Anything on it?]

[Nope. It doesn't seem to have been the cause of the blood on the ground.

There is something else on the ground though, by the incinerator.]

[Well that's good, because that would be really creepy.

What else is on the ground?]

[trustharder]

[It looks like a scrap of fabric. It's light blue and bloodstained.]

[He'll keep that as evidence also.

...Is the incinerator cool enough to open yet? Look, if there is anyone who doesn't have a lot of patience with things that were on fire cooling off, it is the man who lives underwater.]
