[Another week, another murder, another absolute shitshow. Tarrlok kind of just wants to lock himself in his room for a while, but... well, he volunteered. So... it's definitely going to be much later in the day before a note advising everyone to meet up in the bar for some comfort food is slipped under everyone's door.

At least Tarrlok didn't have to take care of everything alone, though; while he spent most of the time cooking by himself, Speedwagon and Yosuke helped take some delicious pork buns up to set them out across the bar so that everyone could drown their sorrows in stuffing their faces. And, you know, alcohol, maybe that too. There's also some vegetarian stir fry for people who don't like pork, too, of course.

There isn't an official bartender to start out with, but there is live entertainment courtesy of Yosuke, who's strumming his guitar over in the corner there.

Hopefully someone will step up, because lord knows everyone in the Vault needs a drink right now.]

[While Sigrun is making her stop in the bar, a certain pile of gears floats its way over to...nudge her with its minigear, like a dog or cat would try to nudge in when it senses a person is off.

It still doesn't know the full story of what went on. It just knows that its trainer put it in its Pokeball to rest last night and suddenly everything seems to have gone wrong.

But it just wants to make sure Sigrun's as okay as she can be.]

Hey there, Klinky. I guess that must mean your partner's pretty close by.

[Though she's not gonna look around for Colress, she's kind of content to pet the gears. Petting metal is so not fun. But maybe it'll enjoy it?]

You're probably asking what everyone else is asking too, huh? I'm fine. Stuff like this doesn't faze me at all. But I guess this is your first week around here.

[It's all good, Colress is probably somewhere having a feelings jam.

And Klinklang does enjoy the petting! But what it seems to enjoy more is the nickname, just like Colress thought it would. Its whole body tilts in mild confusion when it hears it the first time. She means it, right? Is this supposed to be a unique name for it? As it considers that possibility, it whirrs contentedly. As content as one can be in this situation.

It's not sure what to say in response to the goings-on, though. Its gears slow down and rotate thoughtfully as it looks for any clues in Sigrun's expression or what she is saying. So something bad did happen?]

[... Is she gonna have to explain to a machine. Oh boy. She needs to sit down for this.

And onto the ground she will sit.]

You remember Megumi? The sweet pink-haired lady.

Klinklang seems to understand though, and shows that by bobbing up and down in a nod. From what it remembers, that was the woman whose room was right next to its trainer's. That...would definitely explain why he seems very off this evening.

It also has a feeling that there was probably a reason why Colress said nothing to it about the amount of death happening here. Maybe he hoped it would stop so he wouldn't have to explain.]

... So we had a trial, which is basically us gathering and running around in circles [and learning so much holy shit] until we figure out who did it, and then they die. Things are generally like this every week after one of those happen.

[And this happens every week, but Klinky can probably figure that out.]

You probably won't be around for any of them though, your buddy takes good care of you.

[With the explanation over, Klinklang just kinda...moves as close to Sigrun as it can without impaling her with its rim, making a melancholy humming sound. It all sounds pretty rough, so it can see why everyone at the bar right now looks sad and distraught.

It doesn't understand why this has to happen, but then again, no one does.

For a brief moment, the minigear on Klinklang detaches and it looks up at Sigrun, rotating quickly in a direction opposite the rest of its body. It's in a questioning manner- it wonders if it can do anything to help cheer Sigrun up. She seems fine, but maybe she'd like to air out the stress sometime?]
