And I can assure you that they are completely safe, Mr. Mouri. Pokemon do not get fatally injured very often- they are quite resilient! Typically they simply faint when they run out of energy during battle, and can then be healed at a Pokemon Center.

...Of course, I do not have access to a Pokemon Center here, so I am being rather careful with my Pokemon.
