Friday morning dawns in much the same way it usually does in this place: with klaxons blaring and a sense of unease settling over the Vault. As much as people put their best efforts toward trying to discourage anything from happening on Thursday nights with parties and get-togethers, Fridays really don't have a good track record around here. But initially, things actually seem rather quiet; the first and second floors are remarkably free of blood and corpses today. Unfortunately, the third floor might not have fared so well. >Explore?

[Looks like this thing took some serious body damage - it's closer to the latter than the former.]

[It (and the other vending machine items) have blood on them but otherwise there's not much to note here.]

Most of the others seem to be randoms that were just in the general vicinity of said piano when things went down.]

[The item is... a wrench? Yep, it's one of those heavy wrenches from the workshop. And just as important, it's got blood smeared on it.]

Luckily there's only so many furnishings in these bedrooms to begin with. Let's start with the trunk - are her belongings still in there?]

It looks like the right side of her head was smashed in with extreme prejudice. Her face is...okay, but starting from the temple back, it's. It's really not pretty.]

Looking over at the woodworking tool selection - you can look at the vibrator if you want, Yosuke - is anything missing?]

[It doesn't look much different than the rest of the room, honestly. Try somewhere else?]

[Well, having been in the workshop so often this week, that is... yup, that is a wrench from there.

... Maybe the murder weapon, even. She is on a roll with finding them. Or having them by the trial, anyway, she'll just take that with her for now.

Okay, so, what's in the other sink?]

That is some serious damage. ...reminds Bruce a bit too much of the Other Guy, honestly.

He will try his best to get a better idea of the wound, somehow. Is there any possible way to find the point of impact? Like is there a point where the... injury is deeper than the rest, or something.]

[The outfit from the masquerade. That's...a curious thing to be wearing randomly during the night. That could be important.

Note to himself: check the laundry rooms to see if it was just that Aqua's normal outfit needed to be washed.

Finally, there's one more thing about the body he wanted to check: the hands. Anything that could show she could have managed to injure the culprit, or used something that could be useful for that?]

[Most of it seems to be here, though you'll notice that they're scattered around and they're also bloody.]

God what a mess. Is there anything noticeable among the strewn instruments? Could they be so lucky that someone might drop something at a crime scene?]

[Nope, but more importantly Aqua's Wayfinder is on the bed and it's not in very good condition anymore.]

[There are traces of blood and water in that sink so uh, you might not want to use that one to freshen up.]

Are anybody's personal projects missing or damaged? Like, say, Sigrun's box Mettaton? She's going to be so pissed if that was damaged.]

[You bet it is. The string it's usually on has been roughly broken and the Wayfinder itself is smashed. The second casualty of this case, RIP.]

Whoo. Okay. The wrench isn't cleaned off, so they probably washed wounds at the sink? Or their hands at least. Boy, you sure are all messy.
