Sixth.
| Friday morning dawns in much the same way it usually does in this place: with klaxons blaring and a sense of unease settling over the Vault. As much as people put their best efforts toward trying to discourage anything from happening on Thursday nights with parties and get-togethers, Fridays really don't have a good track record around here. But initially, things actually seem rather quiet; the first and second floors are remarkably free of blood and corpses today. Unfortunately, the third floor might not have fared so well. >Explore? |

Oh god.
That is some serious damage. ...reminds Bruce a bit too much of the Other Guy, honestly.
He will try his best to get a better idea of the wound, somehow. Is there any possible way to find the point of impact? Like is there a point where the... injury is deeper than the rest, or something.]

Looks like she was hit multiple times.]

But why...? He just can't imagine...
No time to ponder on that now.
Going to examine the injury closer now. Any kind of shape or imprint of the weapon that he can make out from the impacts? He'll also be checking the blood on her head to see if its dry or wet to better determine the time of this... incident.]

Most of the blood is dry; while there's a decent amount of it on the keys, though, there isn't nearly enough there considering that she had her head turned toward the piano. There's some, but not nearly as much as you'd expect from a combination of a literally skull-crushing injury and gravity doing the rest from the way she ended up.]

...and after examining the blood, Bruce does find it pretty strange as well that there isn't as much blood as there could be. So he'll be checking around her head and face now if there's any sign that the blood could have been wiped off. And if not, he'll be checking the blood trails from her head to see if they stop at any weird point.]

Given that she's in her dress from the masquerade, which involves bare shoulders, once you get past the initial bloodsoaked horrorshow that is her head it's pretty clear that there's been blood wiped off from her skin - her face is clear, and it looks like there are older streaks of blood beneath the current dark ones on her neck and shoulders. There's also very little blood on her dress - there's some on her lap from where it dripped off the keys, but otherwise the dress is clean.]

Anyway. Time to move on.
He'll progress down to the bruises that Mouri had investigated earlier - once more, were the bruises formed before or after death? ...also he'll be taking off that gold bracelet from her wrist, just to be doubly sure nothing is hidden.]

The bruises, though - they're largely concentrated on the right side of her body, though there's a large and unnatural one on her left shoulder and a good amount low on her legs as well.
There's more damage overall to the right side of her body, but the ones on the left side are darker - like blood collected there for a while.]

But now, the bruises... that is indeed strange. Bruce will check the unnatural looking on on her left shoulder. What exactly is unnatural about this bruise? The shape? The texture? ...something else this player probably can't think of because its past 3AM?]

It's also a good size, and again, it looks like blood settled or collected there for a while. Kind of an odd injury for someone who was found in her position sitting at the piano with the right side of her head down, in other words.]
no subject
He'll be gently pressing his hand down across her left shoulder as well as where the shoulder blade should be at her back - is there any kind of swelling or whatever to show dislocation or a fracture of any sort?]

He'll move on to check the bruises at her right side, since there's more of those there. Is there any kind of pattern to the bruises? And are they generally big or average or small sized, just to get an idea of how hard she might be struck.]

...and probably one last thing: to check the bruises on her legs. Is there anything off about those, or are they the same as the general bruises on the rest of her body>
(Why the hell are there even bruises there, anyway...?]

Annnd that should be it, unless there is anything else Bruce should be looking at here regarding the state of Aqua's body.]

RIP Team Mom and RIP us all.]

When the blood was wiped, were there any fibers left behind? Or...anything that could indicate the material that was used for that?]
