Friday morning dawns in much the same way it usually does in this place: with klaxons blaring and a sense of unease settling over the Vault. As much as people put their best efforts toward trying to discourage anything from happening on Thursday nights with parties and get-togethers, Fridays really don't have a good track record around here. But initially, things actually seem rather quiet; the first and second floors are remarkably free of blood and corpses today. Unfortunately, the third floor might not have fared so well. >Explore?

[The first and second floor being empty of corpses is a good sign, and someone else might have stayed down there just to avoid seeing anything else, but Cherryblod doesn't allow himself to relax just yet. He's an optimist but not stupid.

First stop on the third floor: the game room, if only to pay Yato's shrine a visit.]

[Speedwagon was going to head up through the third floor to the fourth because that's where the chapel is... he didn't expect to find anything on his way.

What's the third floor looking like to someone who just entered from the stairs?]

[You will be fine if that is where you're going, Cherryblod; no one touched the shrine. There's not even a massive blood explosion in here! Excellent.]

[Oh good! Then he doesn't have to be the one to find the body today.

[Don't worry, no one's painted the hallway with blood. Seems like someone might be in the music room, though. There isn't any sound coming from the room, there's just someone kind of sitting at the piano in there.]

[Thank goodness the hallway has no blood.

...but yeah, who is that sitting in the music room. Bruce goes in and towards the... person... sitting down there.

[... Well, the music room is one of her favorite haunts, so she'll just... go in... there?

... Who is sitting at the piano. It's not like you can't tell most people from behind, after all.]

[HEY BRUCE WHAT'S GOING ON IN HER-oh

Speedwagon never spent as much time in here as some, but boy if there wasn't some great music that came out of it.

So.... who can they expect to be in here....?]

[It most certainly is a person, at any rate.

Entering the room will reveal that they aren't sitting properly at the piano - they're sitting on the bench, yes, and their hands are on the keys, but there's no force pressing down on them except what's being provided by gravity. Though to be fair, it seems that there was...a decent amount of pressure provided by gravity at one point - they're leaning forward over the instrument, slumped over it awkwardly, face turned away from the door and head propped up against the built-in stand over the keys.

There's no movement or acknowledgement when Bruce enters the room, though a closer look will likely reveal why - dark red blood has dripped down and stained the keys; there's also a good amount of it matting the bright blue locks it ran through on the way there.

The hair color alone is probably more than enough to confirm it; anyone who'd seen her at the masquerade last week would probably recognize the dark blue dress she's in, too. There's no two ways about it.

Aqua is dead.]

[Just that--his voice, quiet and full of disbelief at first, and then when he says it again its loud and the desperation is clear.]

Aqua!

[Even though he knows better he grabs her by the shoulders and shakes her a little, as if hoping that she'd wake up and this was all just some bad dream--but of course, he knows better. The truth is right before his eyes.

Aqua is dead.]

[Yeah, he is in shock. For a moment Mouri can't believe it. The girl that seemed so similar to Ran in personality and all was now dead. It was a tough blow, that was for sure]

The first thought is that well, now she is the only woman taking care of a zoo of men, and then the other's that her corner sure is lonely now, huh.

The third is how she's not gonna be able to explore the world with Aqua.

Sigrun isn't a woman who cries, but there's an undeniable tightness in her throat as Bruce shakes at the body and she clenches her fists, breathing deeply. Head straight, stay calm, there'll be time for everything else later. It's time to investigate.]

[Cherryblod hears the body announcement, sees the people gathering in the music room, and decides he just is not up for staring at the dead body of one of his friends today. Investigating is easier for him emotionally.

He'll start from the top and work his way down. It's a method. If he does this methodically it doesn't hurt as much.
