[Every week was bad, but this one? This one most likely has hit them all the hardest.

All well, almost all of them. Bruce certainly can't speak for everyone here... not that there's a lot of them left now.

Anyway.

Working with Speedwagon in the kitchen the two of them whip up a decent, simple fare of food just so that their stomachs won't go empty - Bruce knows that a lot of them won't have much of an appetite at all after what happened, and he can't blame them. He doesn't have much of one himself even after the food is done.

Once everything is set up in the dining hall a couple of hours later after everything that happened downstairs Bruce goes around to slip a notice to every body's room. (Everyone that is still alive, that is.)]

I know what happened was hard to take in. I feel the same as well.
If you wish to be alone I understand, but if you need company, or somebody to talk to... there is food in the dining hall made by Speedwagon and I.

As mentioned earlier, there's a small fare of simple, light food and snacks for everyone to eat if they have the stomach for it. For better or for worse there's alcohol too, although Bruce certainly isn't going anywhere near it. But if anybody needs that drink after what happened, he can't blame them for the need for it, either.]

Used to feel pointless, a lotta the time. I was only there to save Ford, and I didn't get anywhere on that for decades.

But I guess I settled in.

Pretty much everyplace I've ever lived had a bad reputation. You can't really know about it until you've been there a while.

Do you live there because they have bad reputations, or do they have bad reputations because you live there?

Yeeeeeah, Gravity Falls has its share of demons too, if you ask my brother. You got any advice on keepin' them away?

They're really hard to kill - really hard. You can tear them into chunks and they'll show up again the next week good as new.

[If you want to know if that's from experience - yes.]

So the only things to do about them are seal them off somewhere or make it so that it's too much of a pain for them to hang around.

I've still never really met the guy. Just read Ford's notes about him. He got really fucked up by the thing.

...I'd rather kill it, but I'll settle for whatever I can get if it shows up again.

At least I was able to vent some on the demon that hurt my daughter, even if I couldn't kill him.

It doesn't even look like much - just this little triangle guy. But he gets in your head. [Stan shakes his own head.] I should've been there earlier. Ford was half outta his mind when I showed up.

Was Lobco okay? [He still feels like he's talking about a seafood company when he says that name.]

She's alright now. Still jumpy, but she gets out and about.

[Whatever's happening to their world aside.]

But for a few months after I rescued her she would barely talk. Could hardly get her to eat, even, and she wouldn't leave the house. Not that I blame her, after months of torture.
