WEEK 1.
As much as this sounds like a bad joke all around, it looks like one thing is being played completely straight: you're not going anywhere. After the Kingmaker has answered your questions (or, well, perhaps it's more accurate to say he didn't answer them, at least as far as most of those little Q&A sessions went), you'll be left up to your own devices – feel free to continue exploring and getting to know your fellow Survivors for the next several days. Should you want to eat something you're free to use the kitchen before 10PM, but after that the doors will be locked and no amount of fussing with the locks or trying to break them down will get them to budge. And no, the robot cannot punch them in for you. Notably, though, starting bright and early on Monday morning (or maybe just early, since there aren't any windows) you'll be treated to the most unholy damn noise – it's very definitely an electric siren of some sort, probably some kind of klaxon, blaring out over the PA system. It only blasts once, but really, for something that loud, once is enough. This will happen every morning at 7AM and again in the evenings at 10PM. You'll be able to hear it no matter what room you're in. There isn't any punishment for sleeping through it, but you don't want to waste the day in bed, now do you? (Unless you were out exploring all last night. In which case, go back to bed, damn.) |
MONDAY | TUESDAY | WEDNESDAY | THURSDAY
[OOC: Welcome to week one of Trustfell! Feel free to make as many top levels as you'd like and tag out to other characters! This post is for all of your interactions this week... at least until the weekend. Don't forget to save those threads for coins and the activity check!
There are also two new posts for the sake of contacting the jerk who's keeping you here, to be used at your leisure!]

[Mettaton's room is on the way back to his own, after all.
...but you know, since they're here--]
Well, um--are you alright? I mean, after yesterday.
[Mouri did say some rather terrible things, as impulsive as they were.]
no subject
I mean, the question kind of gets the briefest of pauses from him, but...]
Oh...I talked to Mouri earlier, actually. I'm all right, no hard feelings!
[That's...kind of unnecessarily bright. Like not-genuine levels of bright? But bless him, he's trying.]
No one was really at their best yesterday, anyway.
no subject
take one step in
yeah]
Are you sure? You sounded quite hurt back then.
[He guesses that this Dr. Alphys must be somebody important to Mettaton... more than just mere 'creator and creation'. Stark kind of had the same thing in the few times he mentioned his AI JARVIS.]
no subject
The theory posed was just...ridiculous, that's all. Dr. Alphys would never hurt or threaten anyone - she'd rather die, I'm sure of it. And she definitely wouldn't do anything like this to me! It's not something easy to listen to.
no subject
A small nod at Mettaton's words. He doesn't know this Dr. Alphys at all, of course, but he will take Mettaton's word for it.]
I'm sure she's a great person. [He says after a bit.] And I apologize again, on his behalf.
[Sort of inclines his head a little here.]
no subject
I'll be back up to the usual in no time, I'm sure of it.
no subject
[The longer they're stuck here, the more likely the unthinkable might happen...
Bruce really hopes it doesn't happen.]
Well, I suppose aside from that... how are you faring otherwise? I know you don't need sleep and food like us, but... [Sort of gestures vaguely here. He assumes Mettaton needs to recharge and stuff, but he doesn't want to be rude.]
no subject
Oh, right! I asked the Kingmaker about that, actually, my batteries might have been...a bit of a problem. Last I knew, I wasn't supposed to use this body too much because it wasn't finished - the power distribution is inefficient.
But it seems to be working just fine now, for some reason - I don't know if that's because of something the Kingmaker did, though.
[Hmmm...]
Did you hear Misa's theory yesterday? About there maybe being several gaps that we're missing, memory-wise, and not just one large one.
no subject
Have you tried to ask him yet?
[It can't hurt. The phone's there and everything, after all. As for the next part... he gives a nod. He had been writing pretty much everything down during the entire meeting.]
It's not entirely out of the realm of possibility. [But it doesn't quite make sense. Why would it be specific parts and not just one whole portion? It's not as if selective amnesia didn't exist, but still--its odd.] What do you think of it yourself?
no subject
[When he laughs a bit it's almost sheepish, awkward in a way that he usually isn't.]
I don't know. I guess it makes sense? My body was finished, I was transferred over, and then something happened and the world ended. It's the same thing with Zagi, right? He was in the castle, and then something happened and his arm was ripped off, and then his world ended. That...could have happened, maybe?
[He hesitates for a moment.]
I'm sorry, I...I'm an amusement robot, remember? I was built to be gorgeous and rich and entertain people. And I'm very good at those things! But I'm not sure how useful I can be here.
no subject
At the apology, though, Bruce is quick to raise his hands up slightly, palms facing forward in sort of an awkward gesture to try and pacify Mettaton.]
Oh, no, its perfectly alright. Anything helps right now, honestly. [Attempts... a smile???] Don't worry about that so much. I think we could all use some entertainment around here, personally.
[HE'S REALLY TRYING TO HELP.]
no subject
[...WE'RE...TRYING, THERE'S A LOT OF TRYING HAPPENING HERE.]
It's really sweet of you.
no subject
We're all stuck here together after all, at least until we find a way out. I think its important we look out for one another.
[If they can at least trust each other enough to not kill one another, surely they can figure something out eventually.]
no subject
I'll do my best to keep everyone's spirits up, then. It's the least I can do for the rest of you.
no subject
[And perhaps it may not be the best, but its the thought that counts. They could all do with a little livening up to keep spirits high.]
Thank you in advance. [Here, he's doing that polite bowing just with his head thing.]
no subject
You don't have to thank me for it! I've always wanted to perform for humans, actually - this isn't how I thought I'd get to do it, but that doesn't mean I won't give it my all anyway.
no subject
Treat this as practice, then, for the real thing. Never hurts to do a little warm up.
