WEEK 1 As much as this sounds like a bad joke all around, it looks like one thing is being played completely straight: you're not going anywhere. After the Kingmaker has answered your questions (or, well, perhaps it's more accurate to say he didn't answer them, at least as far as most of those little Q&A sessions went), you'll be left up to your own devices – feel free to continue exploring and getting to know your fellow Survivors for the next several days. Should you want to eat something you're free to use the kitchen before 10PM, but after that the doors will be locked and no amount of fussing with the locks or trying to break them down will get them to budge. And no, the robot cannot punch them in for you. Notably, though, starting bright and early on Monday morning (or maybe just early, since there aren't any windows) you'll be treated to the most unholy damn noise – it's very definitely an electric siren of some sort, probably some kind of klaxon, blaring out over the PA system. It only blasts once, but really, for something that loud, once is enough. This will happen every morning at 7AM and again in the evenings at 10PM. You'll be able to hear it no matter what room you're in. There isn't any punishment for sleeping through it, but you don't want to waste the day in bed, now do you? (Unless you were out exploring all last night. In which case, go back to bed, damn.) SURVIVORS REMAINING: 27

Well, it's a very long story. But it was a bit unexpected, yes...

Well, however it happened, it seems like the both of you are doing well.

Our relationship is very, very strong! ...Light actually helped me a lot, honestly. I was having a really rough time until he came along.

That's good. It's important that you have somebody who can help you through those tough times.

Oh, for sure! As interesting as the circumstances that led to us meeting each other were, when I first locked eyes with him on that sunny day in Aoyama, I knew for sure that I was head over heels!

Love at first sight? Not everyday when I hear that something like that happens now.

[Him and Betty took......... much longer. A lot longer.]

Do you believe in it? You seem like the type who doesn't.

It's okay if you don't. A lot of people say love is patient. Love takes time. That a quick love is just lust.

I don't think that's true, though. What happened between Light and Misa-Misa on that day was special.

No, I believe in it. It's nice to find somebody like that so simply.

[Sure its probably a load of romantic bull, but Bruce is a bit of a romantic at heart. For other people, that is, not himself.]

I'm glad you found somebody who can treat you the way you deserve.

Light makes me very, very happy, Mister Bruce. And I want to always do my best to make him happy, too. It's the kind of relationship that makes me want to be the best person I can be for him, because he inspires me a lot.

I hope you end up finding someone like that, too.

[And to that... well, Bruce just smiles, but its a bit sad, this time. He had that person and she was amazing, but. Well.

That's in the past now.]

Who knows. Anything can happen in the future.

Nothing's set in stone, you know...

[ But, well, she knows that's not true. The Eyes she has are proof of that. The numbers she usually sees, but suddenly found herself missing; she doesn't know how to make sense of them, but she knows they don't lie. There's a lot more that's predetermined than one would think. Like when someone's time is up, their time's up.

Unless you have a guardian angel like she did, at least. ]
