WEEK 1.

WEEK 1

As much as this sounds like a bad joke all around, it looks like one thing is being played completely straight: you're not going anywhere. After the Kingmaker has answered your questions (or, well, perhaps it's more accurate to say he didn't answer them, at least as far as most of those little Q&A sessions went), you'll be left up to your own devices – feel free to continue exploring and getting to know your fellow Survivors for the next several days. Should you want to eat something you're free to use the kitchen before 10PM, but after that the doors will be locked and no amount of fussing with the locks or trying to break them down will get them to budge. And no, the robot cannot punch them in for you.

Notably, though, starting bright and early on Monday morning (or maybe just early, since there aren't any windows) you'll be treated to the most unholy damn noise – it's very definitely an electric siren of some sort, probably some kind of klaxon, blaring out over the PA system. It only blasts once, but really, for something that loud, once is enough. This will happen every morning at 7AM and again in the evenings at 10PM. You'll be able to hear it no matter what room you're in. There isn't any punishment for sleeping through it, but you don't want to waste the day in bed, now do you?

(Unless you were out exploring all last night. In which case, go back to bed, damn.)

SURVIVORS REMAINING: 27

MONDAY | TUESDAY | WEDNESDAY | THURSDAY
[OOC: Welcome to week one of Trustfell! Feel free to make as many top levels as you'd like and tag out to other characters! This post is for all of your interactions this week... at least until the weekend. Don't forget to save those threads for coins and the activity check!

There are also two new posts for the sake of contacting the jerk who's keeping you here, to be used at your leisure!]
lackinginfaith: Caren looking up. (tell him it was the mermaid!)

[personal profile] lackinginfaith 2016-02-29 08:19 pm (UTC)(link)
Another one not clustered up in the 2010s. I wonder why there's such a spread.
notjustawriter: (♟ and the ground was dry)

[personal profile] notjustawriter 2016-02-29 08:33 pm (UTC)(link)
Makes you wonder, doesn't it? Maybe there's some kind of pattern.
lackinginfaith: Caren in shock. (like the worst game over)

[personal profile] lackinginfaith 2016-02-29 08:34 pm (UTC)(link)
Like that 2012 apocalypse theory?
lackinginfaith: Caren looking to the side with disdain. (you got told)

[personal profile] lackinginfaith 2016-02-29 08:38 pm (UTC)(link)
Some garbage going around where people think the world will end then. There's an apocalypse theory for every decade, probably, anyway.
notjustawriter: (♟ after two days in the desert sun)

[personal profile] notjustawriter 2016-03-01 01:16 am (UTC)(link)
...maybe that's what the Kingmaker wants us to think?

I have heard a little about Y2K, but that's all.
lackinginfaith: Caren sticking her tongue out, teasing. (just rocks and stuff)

[personal profile] lackinginfaith 2016-03-01 01:19 am (UTC)(link)
Isn't that the 1999 one? I can assure you nothing happened then to blow up the world.
notjustawriter: (♙ they say the rain must fall)

[personal profile] notjustawriter 2016-03-01 01:32 am (UTC)(link)
Ha! Good to know.

I'm not real worried, but at least that means people will stop talkin' about it as soon as it passes.
lackinginfaith: Caren looking over her shoulder. (adventure!)

[personal profile] lackinginfaith 2016-03-01 01:37 am (UTC)(link)
If something can be prevented, it's good to know beforehand, you mean?
notjustawriter: (♙ they say the rain must fall)

[personal profile] notjustawriter 2016-03-01 01:41 am (UTC)(link)
That's always a good way to look at it.

Good thing I don't use computers much, too.
lackinginfaith: Caren is moved. (oyakodon. look at it. it's beautiful.)

[personal profile] lackinginfaith 2016-03-01 01:45 am (UTC)(link)
You could say the same for me. I have a lot to do day to day, anyway.
notjustawriter: (♙ they say the rain must fall)

[personal profile] notjustawriter 2016-03-01 02:41 am (UTC)(link)
Same here-- if I need anything written down, I'll use my notepad, or my father's typewriter.

...Shame I don't have that here.
lackinginfaith: Caren looking over her shoulder. (adventure!)

[personal profile] lackinginfaith 2016-03-01 02:46 am (UTC)(link)
We don't have much that we would've come in with, would we?
notjustawriter: (♙ always getting the grease)

[personal profile] notjustawriter 2016-03-01 04:17 am (UTC)(link)
It doesn't look like it. Maybe the Kingmaker took all of our belongings.
lackinginfaith: Caren giving an unsure face at Seira. (1 child doesn't like the dead goldfish)

[personal profile] lackinginfaith 2016-03-01 02:11 pm (UTC)(link)
What would he want with those?
notjustawriter: (♟ and the story it told)

[personal profile] notjustawriter 2016-03-01 11:18 pm (UTC)(link)
For kicks?

Maybe its his idea of a joke.
lackinginfaith: Caren making a discovery. (i don't know how to comment on that)

[personal profile] lackinginfaith 2016-03-02 01:09 am (UTC)(link)
Considering his idea of being serious, anything's possible.
notjustawriter: (♟ after three days in the desert fun)

[personal profile] notjustawriter 2016-03-02 01:15 am (UTC)(link)
He's really not one for conversation, is he?

I wonder if callin' him would get him to actually open up.
lackinginfaith: Caren looking over her shoulder. (adventure!)

[personal profile] lackinginfaith 2016-03-02 01:22 am (UTC)(link)
Try it if you want. I can't think of what, besides the obvious, to ask him.
notjustawriter: (♟ and the story it told)

[personal profile] notjustawriter 2016-03-02 08:45 pm (UTC)(link)
Only one way to find out.

He sure wasn't one for conversation before, but maybe he's different one-on-one.
lackinginfaith: Caren giving an unsure face at Seira. (1 child doesn't like the dead goldfish)

[personal profile] lackinginfaith 2016-03-03 01:20 am (UTC)(link)
Could be. Who knows.
