[This is getting so routine.

Cherryblod had thought about napping the rest of the day, like he'd said, but there are people to take care of, people who'd been closer to Aiden and Shirazu than he had been. So after about an hour in his room to decompress, he'd headed to the kitchen and started cooking. At some point Stan and Bruce had both joined him.

Almost everyone seems to want to take care of those who are remaining. Almost everyone.

The food this time is mostly soup and sandwiches - nothing fancy, nobody's in the mood to appreciate it - but it's there set up in the dining room by the time everyone (alive) receives notes under their doors. ...He slips an extra one for Sigrun under Mettaton's door, just in case.]

I don't think I've ever seen one, actually. [ Small animals either get turned into specials in Hellsalem's Lot or experimented on for hybrid pet purposes, and they're not around in Scotland? (Alive, anyway.) ] Can you draw one?

And I can make a couple of them if people want to use them for less-than-nice things.

[Stan considers the other proposal.] You oughta make a few for the shooting range. I'd sure be more interested in tryin' out the crossbow then.

He feels kind of disappointed they're going to just get torn up, but he offered... ] I'll get started on them tomorrow. Expect to see them by... hopefully the end of the week? Assuming nothing comes up.

Heh. Yeah, hard to make plans around here. [Though if patterns hold, everyone should live for a few more days.] But it's good to keep busy. Once I'm done with the color portraits, I think I might just start paintin' the walls.

[That and try to find wall panels that actually do move. It's a good cover for checking them over more thoroughly during the day.]

Not a bad idea. I think people've been meaning to decorate this place too, but... [ ...they didn't, despite the fact there's tons of time to.

Maybe it's because there's so much time? "I can do it later" again and again until there isn't any left. ] I don't know how much help I can be, but if you need any, let me know.

Sure, sure. I've talked about it with a few different folks, but I guess there's just always somethin' else going on.

[Like murder. Mostly murder, then recovery, maybe a day or two of feeling normal, and then BAM! Murder.]

You don't gotta be any good at painting. Anything's better than concrete all day.
