WEEK 4.
Three more have died this past week. Milla Maxwell was killed for breaking a rule, Chiyuki was murdered, and you all had a hand in executing Yoshikage Kira. It seems like this isn't going to stop any time soon. How many more will join them this week? Saturday is given to regrouping and rest; on Sunday morning the clock chimes as it always has, but at least there are no bodies to find today. It seems you're safe for now. The night before wasn't necessarily a peaceful one, however; you'll probably feel a bit groggy when you wake up, and it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost... Despite the Wordsmith's reaction to the last trial, it seems as though you've been rewarded once again for a job that was...well, it was done, even if he didn't explicitly say it was well-done. Another door has opened in that stairway, it seems, leading you further down into the building; once again, there are more rooms down there, more things to occupy yourselves with. Or perhaps just more means to get creative with regards to how you take initiative with your fellow Apprentices. APPRENTICES REMAINING: 20 |

[OOC: Welcome to week four of Trustfell! Feel free to make as many top levels as you'd like and tag out to other characters! This post is for all of your interactions this week... at least until the weekend. Don't forget to save those threads for coins and the activity check!
If you'd like to get in contact with the Wordsmith, you can do so through letters or the switchboard!]

...are you expecting to glare a hole through it, or...

So I wondered, if this may be more effective or easier if there was a second person helping me with this.

[ He'll smile sheepishly. ]

[He'll go over and pick one up, then.]
no subject
[ He'll wait patiently until the other man is ready before he will consider throwing one. \o/ ]
no subject
[right. gonna hold it up, steady himself, and then nod.]

[ He doesn't know if Guzma knows martial arts per say, but it probably will do for anyone who is good at hand-to-hand for now (or what he presumes is the case).
He'll then start with trying to go straight forward in terms of throwing a punch. But the coordination is a little dubious due to his inexperience with hand to hand. ]

[And he'll bring the pad up to meet it! ...and sort of...]
Man, you know, you need to hit a little harder than that. And --- wait. Lemme see how you're holding your fist.
no subject
[ Indeed, he didn't hit it too hard--
He'll hold out his fist. His thumb is sticking out, over his fingers, instead of under... yeah he's clearly never thrown a punch before in his life, um. And it's probably not being held as tightly as it should be.]
Hmm, is something wrong?
no subject
[He sets the pad down and walks over to demonstrate.]
You wanna hold your thumb like this, see? With your thumb below your fingers. Otherwise, it's gonna get in the way of your knuckles and you'll probably break it if you hit somebody wrong.
no subject
[ Mikazuki puts his thumb inside by accident at first, before correcting it immediately after and placing it below his fingers properly. ]
I didn't quite know how to hold it the correct way. You see, this is the first time I've tried to punch anything.
no subject
Now, you wanna give it another shot?
no subject
[ At that he also remembers to tighten his fist. ]
But yes, I'm ready to give it another try.
no subject
[he'll head on over, pick up the pad, get in position...]
Yeah. Come at me, and come at me hard.
no subject
[ He'll be pulling back his fist now, and manage to take a step forward...]
...ha!
[ ...and then he'll throw it as hard as he can, straight into the pad! ]

[ His left hand, as it was his non-dominant one would be the one used in the next punch he'll be throwing. It's ... probably expected that he doesn't hit as hard as he does with his right hand, as a result, but he did give it his all! ]
How was that?
