WEEK 7.
Oerba Dia Vanille, Phi, and Gangrel have joined the deceased, dropping your number even further. This is the second week that the death toll has risen by three, just by way of murder alone. With well over half of your number deceased, how much longer can this go on? Saturday is given to regrouping and rest; on Sunday morning the clock chimes as it always has, but at least there are no bodies to find today. It seems you're safe for now. The night before wasn't necessarily a peaceful one, however; you'll probably feel a bit groggy when you wake up, and it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost... As before, it seems that door at the bottom of the stairwell has been unlocked, allowing you to descend even further into the depths of the university; perhaps the new floor holds something promising for you. Or perhaps you'll "christen" this one with another murder. Given the current pattern, that probably wouldn't be a surprise. |
SUNDAY | MONDAY | TUESDAY | WEDNESDAY | THURSDAY
[OOC: Welcome to week seven of Trustfell! Feel free to make as many top levels as you'd like and tag out to other characters! This post is for all of your interactions this week... at least until the weekend. Don't forget to save those threads for coins and the activity check!
If you'd like to get in contact with the Wordsmith, you can do so through letters or the switchboard!]
MORNING
So this instance where she's awakening sees her getting up with the chime, sitting straight up and looking confused for a moment.
It's also worth noting she's taken to sleeping in the pain and sharpie smeared clothes Silver made her that she was wearing when she desecrated the chapel as her jammies ]

Today... Well, today Hanyuu wakes up and just kind of stares at the ceiling for a moment, also with the ping. She remembers where she is, and blinks out a few tears, and wide-awake turns to look at Elda.
...Confusion? She wipes at her eyes, pushing herself up.
(She is absolutely wearing her homemade pajamas and sleep cap.)]
Elda?
no subject
Sort of falls over sideways onto her. Because screw sitting up, she's putting her head on Hanyuu's lap or leaning against her or whatever else comes of it. She just wants to be against the other woman. ]
I learned why we came into conflict with the Brownlicks.
[ And it's.... hmmm. ] What about you?
[ Maybe make Hanyuu start ]
no subject
We... Aah... We won.
[Saying it, it feels like the words come from someone else's lips.]
Rika... She didn't die.

You did?! Oh, oh that's amazing, Hanyuu! I'm so glad! I don't even need to be your spearhead!
no subject
I got to remember through to the beginning of July. I- I got to attend the Watanagashi- [there are two different ways to interpret that so let's avoid the one that means Disembowelment] aah, the Cotton Drifting Festival, the one in my honor, for the first time.
I've never known a summer so...so wonderful before.
no subject
But it is certainly said with the utmost affection, ]
It's about time that they recognized you, Hanyuu.
no subject
[For the last week, though filled with hope, she's worried about one thing: What would happen to her body, if they left this place. But now-]
I regained a physical body...and through that, we were able to win.
no subject
It's a weird motion. ]
You did? Truly? Then you are no longer a ghost in any form?!
no subject
I'm not sure how aging works...because I definitely manifested in a younger form. B-but...mm. I... I started just living with Rika, and Satoko. Rolling up the futon in the morning. Heh, going to school with them, and playing in their club.
[It's all normal things. But to Hanyuu, the way she sounds, the way she looks- this is what she's always wanted. A relaxed, gentle life.]
no subject
Even through her happiness, Hanyuu can probably see that she has a worry, somewhere behind her eyes, that she couldn't fit into a world like that. Some pleasant world where she lives alongside young girls, going to school. A happy and relaxed life in a bright village... Elda Marker sure lived a relaxed life, but it wasn't that.
Still, she does affectionately nip at her hand. And she's still smiling despite that worry at the end. ]
Well, I do hope you can keep this form. I wouldn't want to have to explain my love for a child.
[ She decides to play it off as a more flippant worry than anything. Because, in turn, compared to both of their memories, it is. ]
no subject
I'd imagine I can. I could change how I looked, still, I just had no reason to be anything but Rika's classmate. It was easier that way, for me to watch over her. [An adult couldn't go to school, after all.] ...I've something to look a bit more how I feel for, now.
no subject
Well I am pretty special.
no subject
...It's all to think about, for later. For after they've beaten this place, which Hanyuu has no doubt now that they will. For the moment. For the moment, she'll smile down sleepily.]
That you are! No one could deny that, least of all me. [...] You know... It really makes me think...with enough belief, and enough willpower, anything can be accomplished.
no subject
[ She laughs, still nuzzling her.
God she loves this woman. She is certain of it all over again, every morning. She wonders how silly she must look, sometimes. Maybe some of it is desperation... she hopes not. Elda Marker loves strongly though, and just as she once swooned over James Marker, now that she has flipped the switch, so to speak, and fallen for another- well.
There'll probably be a lot of hand nips. ]
no subject
It inspires a giggle, and she runs her other hand over Elda's forehead.]
I'm not feeling very cynical right now. Something horrible may still happen and tragedy can still strike, but it's not assured. Not as long as everyone works for their happiness.
no subject
It's probably just the being tired, but there are definitely swimming bright eyes looking up at Hanyuu. Loving. Adoring. Swooning.
She loves being stroked like this. ]
You really do look best with a smile, Hanyuu.
no subject
Hanyuu hopes...at least a little...that she can-]
As do you.
[...Is- should she- caught up in the moment, she leans down and kisses Elda's forehead.]
no subject
So this is a gentle moment, and Elda Marker should just savor that kiss. And she does, giggling, squirming. But once she savored it for just a moment, she reaches her arm up to wrap around Hanyuu's neck, keeping her down there so elda can lean up and plant a short, soft kiss on the woman's lips too. ]
no subject
It's a gentle, nice moment, and she basks in it.]
no subject
Either way though, Elda...
Is proud of herself? Basking in this moment, she can almost forget her dream. ]
no subject
Hanyuu can't forget that Elda's regained something too. She can't forget that look. So, eventually, after some time of just staying there, she...]
Elda... What...what did you remember...?
no subject
... I remembered why we came into conflict with the Brownlicks. I had mentioned that, right? I returned from punishing those villains before Henry had to tell me something secret. Well, I now remember going to punish them, and saving Henry.
[ . . . ]
They had kidnapped Karin, you see. [ She... hm. How much of this does she want to tell Hanyuu. She doesn't want to hurt her? And the confusion comes up in the form of bringing a nail to her lips so she might bite it ]
no subject
Like Rika. Hanyuu worries for her, especially... She worries for Karin, and for what the memories might do to Elda.]
