WEEK 7 Oerba Dia Vanille, Phi, and Gangrel have joined the deceased, dropping your number even further. This is the second week that the death toll has risen by three, just by way of murder alone. With well over half of your number deceased, how much longer can this go on? Saturday is given to regrouping and rest; on Sunday morning the clock chimes as it always has, but at least there are no bodies to find today. It seems you're safe for now. The night before wasn't necessarily a peaceful one, however; you'll probably feel a bit groggy when you wake up, and it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost... As before, it seems that door at the bottom of the stairwell has been unlocked, allowing you to descend even further into the depths of the university; perhaps the new floor holds something promising for you. Or perhaps you'll "christen" this one with another murder. Given the current pattern, that probably wouldn't be a surprise. APPRENTICES REMAINING: 12

[ . . Will Hanyuu allow her this, to be perhaps a little bit overbearing? She- decides not to hesitate. She flushes a little at that quip and responds back just as fast, smiling as she works around her horns now ]

[ She laughs, somewhere between her gentle laugh and evil old lady laugh. ]

[A little's good. ...For now, it's more than good, it'll be something to get used to, but affection's so very nice.]

... she's aware Hanyuu has yet to really respond beyond an examinaton of a future. ]

[Ohhh, her ears are getting warm she's blushing so much...!!!

There is... It's not fair to really leave Elda hanging, she knows. She's still feeling everything out, she's still getting used to...all of this. But, moments like this, she feels like...

...it's all going to work out. To sort itself out. That she's nothing to worry about.]

[ Ba-bump.

She swears, in her ears, her very pulse sounds like "Han-yuu." She knows she's rushing into this, Elda Marker is far from foolish. Some of their connection, perhaps most of it, wouldn't work under other circumstances. But never once to examine such things, Elda knows that she loves Hanyuu now, that she means the world to her now, that she... ]

No... no, I sure hope not. [ She... ] Your hair is so gorgeous.

[ She's giving herself an out, as much as Hanyuu. ] Will you wear the flower today? I ought to part it by your horns differently if you do.

[That out is appreciated. She was sure Elda would push her more, for more of an answer, for... But she's not, and that means so very much to her, more than she could ever describe.]

Aah? I... Yes, I would...love to, especially since you can probably...fix it better, than I did.

[Like Vanille had, Hanyuu placed the flower in water for the night, so it wouldn't dry out.]

Of course I can. Who do you take me for?

[ Elda sighs. ]

... You should let me touch up your nails with my polish later this week, too.

[ You always wanted red nails, right, Hanyuu? You can be like Elda! ... And Lusamine! ... And Gangrel before he died!

But true to her word, either way, Elda is now shifting how she's doing the hair around the chipped horn, in preparation for the flower. ]

Aah- I've never worn nail polish... Ohhh, you know, even in Hinamizawa, not many of the kids wore anything like it either.

[Maybe Shion? ...Shion definitely wore nail polish at least a few times.]

I-it could be fun, to try, yes.

Then we'll do that, later this week! I'm sure you would look wonderful! [ Red might be... only dubiously Hanyuu's color? No, it's definitely her color. Elda nods to herself. ]

[ She finishes up this part and- ]

You're closer to the flower, can you grab it? I'll work it in.

Oh, of course.

[She's got a long enough reach that she can snatch it up, out of the little bowl she uses to soak it. The water means she has to let it drip on to the floor, for a few moments, but she has it ready for when Elda needs it.]

[matchbreaker]

It really is a fairly nice looking flower.

[ The woman says idly, still back here and focusing more on it and on Hanyuu's hand than anything. She might just be trying to focus to not like... nod off... ]

Yes, it is. ...I wonder what kind it is. If it's exclusive to Akopos.

[A slight wistful tone. She should ask Alani.]

It's surprising some ocean flower is so okay with the air, then!

[ Okay, lalala, tying in the flower. This means she does need to gently brush the horn. She likes it, but she feels bad. Hanyuu usually doesn't ]

Well, it does have to be soaked when not worn...

[Ah- Well, it's okay she knew this was coming. ...As long as she's careful around the chip, we'll have no problems.]

[matchbreaker]

[ Elda is very gentle about this! Don't worry! She threads the thing in carefully, notching it around the chip and through her hair, securing it on the other end...

And then shifting some of the hair around the horn...

There! ]

Perfect! Does that feel alright?

[oyashiromama]

[Hanyuu very gently nods her head, mostly to see if it's secure...and when it is, she smiles, and turns around, and nods a bit more enthusiastically.]
