Week 4.
And as the third week in the Vault comes to a close and the fourth week begins, the Survivors are once again down by two. Mion Sonozaki died on her own terms, and Yato died fulfilling his duty as God of Fortune in the best way that he knew how; the shrine built in the game room on Saturday stands in their memory. Saturday is given to regrouping and sleep; there aren't any bodies to be found on Sunday morning. But that doesn't mean the night was uneventful - it seems something else may have brought you some newfound clarity. Or perhaps not... Once again, that spiral staircase leads farther than you remember, clear up to a previously inaccessible fourth floor. Go ahead and explore as much as you like; even if the Kingmaker sounded a bit unhappy with you last weekend, the fact remains that you're still doing what you seem to have been brought here to do. SURVIVORS REMAINING: 20 |
SUNDAY | MONDAY | TUESDAY | WEDNESDAY | THURSDAY

he... kind of has to think about this for a moment. A shrimp person playing the ukelele.
He's got to break the silence eventually.]
....You know, I've never played an instrument myself. [sure let's go with that]
no subject
Never been very good at them myself. But now that I'm here, there's no reason not to pick one up.
no subject
[bluh. Still stuck on worst case scenarios, and the best way to deal with it is joking. But when it's a very real possibility...]
Well, you're off to a good start.
no subject
Not good enough. I'm trying to play a particular song, but it's hard to play something by memory... Particularly if you haven't heard it for this instrument to begin with.
no subject
Not that it might help much with the trouble you're having. I might not be able to say if I've heard it or not. Different worlds, and all that.
no subject
[He'll hum the entire thing.]
no subject
Well it's a charming tune, if you want my opinion. Can't say I've ever heard it before though.

Something happen between the two of you?
no subject
It got a bit emotional.
[Understatement, here.]

[That trial was a mess in of itself. He can understand Cherryblod's concerns.]

Seems like the two of you've gotten along splendidly up to this point.

[Family feuding: officially the worst thing that could happen to Cherryblod minus somebody dying.]

[There's a brief flash of confusion across Speedwagon's face.]
... Sorry for that, I never knew!

You're really growing attached to the fellow, aren't you?
no subject
Attached at the hip. Trying circumstances can cause that sort of thing.
no subject
That seems to be the case... perhaps it's possible for romance to blossom here after all.
no subject
[Because that would be adorable, frankly.]
no subject
Ah... Even if I was, can't say there's a person out there that would get much of a kick out of this mug.

Hmm, suppose there's a few I think fondly of. But it's merely respect.
