Week 4.
And as the third week in the Vault comes to a close and the fourth week begins, the Survivors are once again down by two. Mion Sonozaki died on her own terms, and Yato died fulfilling his duty as God of Fortune in the best way that he knew how; the shrine built in the game room on Saturday stands in their memory. Saturday is given to regrouping and sleep; there aren't any bodies to be found on Sunday morning. But that doesn't mean the night was uneventful - it seems something else may have brought you some newfound clarity. Or perhaps not... Once again, that spiral staircase leads farther than you remember, clear up to a previously inaccessible fourth floor. Go ahead and explore as much as you like; even if the Kingmaker sounded a bit unhappy with you last weekend, the fact remains that you're still doing what you seem to have been brought here to do. SURVIVORS REMAINING: 20 |
SUNDAY | MONDAY | TUESDAY | WEDNESDAY | THURSDAY
[OOC: Welcome to week two of Trustfell! Save your threads for coins and the coming week's activity check; don't forget to check in to this week's activity check and submit your memory regains!
The text and calling posts are still active, for the sake of contacting the jerk who's keeping you here, to be used at your leisure!]
room 5;
[ Not too hard to hear when you're leaving from just a door down, but, still, that's pretty lovely... ]
...A-ah! I'm sorry, Misa-Misa hopes she isn't interrupting anything..!
no subject
Not really! Just working on a little something for someone. Though I'll admit, I'm not too used to songs like this, it wasn't part of my duties to sing kids to sleep. More of a guts and glory kind of woman, you know?
[Not... what she was doing, which she's probably not going to do with someone in the room, maybe. Even her playing, when she starts back up, is just random notes now.]
But thanks, I've definitely got one of the better ones in my company. You're welcome to come on in if you'd like.
no subject
[ And don't mind if she bows and comes in... ]
After all, you seem like you really care about everyone here, so...you have a little of both.

Must get it from my dad, then. I like being called tender more than cute anyway.
And it's like a lullaby, kind of, but just because it's pretty... soft? I guess? It feels like a soft song. Supposed to be for a memorial of someone or other in their world.
[Idly, she starts to pick it again; it's the song Mettaton was fixated on when he first got that tiny stringed instrument of his.]
I just thought I'd put some words to it and make something of it. It's been pretty fine so far.
no subject
And maybe Misa-Misa can help, too! I kinda do that sort of thing for a living, after all. If you get stuck, Misa-Misa can always help!
no subject
[No words as to what it is otherwise.]
no subject
[ She's an actress, after all, she kind of has to be. ]
no subject
[Sigrun pauses there, for suspense.]
It's for Mettaton. Apparently it's a melody that plays around where he grew up at, so I'd like to bring a little bit of home for him.
[It's awfully sweet of her.]
no subject
That's so nice of you...I'm sure he's going to love it! If it's something he grew up hearing, I'm positive he'll appreciate you doing that for him!
[ Mettaton doesn't exactly seem like the sentimental type, but still, who wouldn't love to hear something like that? ]
Are you gonna play it for him in private? What's it gonna be like? You have to tell Misa-Misa all about it!
no subject
[So yes, private.]
And it's just a short little thing right now! Supposed to cheer him up a bit if he's ever down.
I'm sure he'll have some comment about it, since I'm more used to making up songs about people's grand battles and whatnot, but I think it's a pretty nice sound so far. As expected of me.
no subject
[ She knows if Light were to sing something like that to her, she'd be even more head over heels. ]
I can more easily picture you telling some kind of crazy epic ballad, but, hey, if you can make it sound nice, why not go for it, right?
no subject
If he doesn't appreciate it then I'll mess with his dial again. That was pretty fun the first time.

[That is such a source of pride for her. She's gotten close enough to do a lot of things by now...]

...
So, is it true love, then?

Why is Misa-Misa only hearing about this now?! This is an outrage!
We need to take you on a fancy date, pronto!
no subject
I only figured out we were when that speed-dating thing came around and I was giving kitten a peptalk. And why? Is that a thing you do when you date?
no subject
Absolutely! I mean, granted, there isn't much you can do here, since it's not like you can go to the beach or on long romantic walks in the park, but, still! If you're dating, I'm sure there's a whole bunch of special stuff you can do together! Misa-Misa can make you a super-special candle-lit dinner or something..!
Ah, this is so exciting, Misa-Misa had no idea at all! Maybe when we're out of here we can go on a double-date..! You have to understand, this is huge, Misa-Misa doesn't have many people she can talk about stuff like boys and dates with here...
no subject
No dinner, he doesn't eat. Isn't this song enough though? It kind of feels...
[how to put it]
Stupid. To do a lot of stuff. I guess.

[... Actually she really wants to touch his soul again it was really nice...]
I just also feel kind of weird thinking about it. My job's always been my one and only, so stuff like this is not a usual.
no subject
[ Wow, too pure...... ]
It's...not something you should think too much about, Misa-Misa doesn't think. If you're enjoying yourself, even if it's not what you're used to, then it's not stupid at all! Love is supposed to be strange, after all.
no subject
Well, I'll believe you then. I think he'd like something fancy, by the way, even if he can't eat. And of course I don't mind something big either.
[This. This is why they work well together. They're both flashy.]
