Take...Responsibility?
| Unlike previous weeks in the Vault, there was no specifically allotted time for investigation; for the first time, this weekend the elevator doors remain closed at the end of the first floor corridor. There's no getting down into the courtroom from here – but then, you don't need to. After all, no one is dead. Just the same, however, a crime has been committed; perhaps not one that warrants any sort of death penalty, but one of your number was attacked by someone else still walking among you. The dining hall has been chosen as the allotted meeting place for the day; it's not the same as the trial circle by a long shot, but even so, the portraits of the deceased watch the proceedings from the far wall. Ten Survivors still remain. Let's see who wanted to lower that number by one – or nine. |

There's nothing incriminating in those [ ...he has others that are worse. ]
Going by what I'm missing... it's just a list of stuffed animals for everyone and notes on everyone and their titles. That's all. I guess she thought that if everyone saw them, they'd immediately think I was the one who did it since my stuff was left here?
Miss Sigrun's always jumping the gun when to comes to people she loves. You know that.

Then you could have mentioned it yourself earlier, at any given time. Why didn't you?
[Sigrun had been weird this entire fucking time and they really could have come to this so much quicker.]

[Black
Black what are you saying.]

That's right.
[ ...............GOOD LUCK GETTING THAT OUT OF HIM. ]

Sigrun, give that back!

[In fact, she's climbing up onto the table behind them, glancing down at Black.]
Have anything to say before I check this out myself?

He's still gonna fuckin' trying. ]
Just to give it, please! It's just— [ um. ] embarrassing stuff that I don't want anyone to see, ever!

And opening it. Let's skim.]

But no, there's... very detailed notes about their meetings, about the ghosts, about Glory... pretty much everything they've learned and discussed. Some are more heavily underlined than others, with little words like "report this" scribbled beside them.
Specifically about their ghost friends.
There's other things too, as she skims through it; about how the Kingmaker could really bring someone back if he wanted to, about possible time travel powers, about there not being anymore kill switches, about why the Kingmaker had Mettaton act that week in particular.
And, of course, musings of there being more than just him relying information to the Kingmaker.
...there's also a couple hearts crossed out with the initials Y + W but that's really nothing important, don't worry about that. ]

You're fucking working with him.

Bruce's initial guess of there being more than just Mettaton was right.]
Jesus christ.
[Just... Bruce is Really Done right now.]

[He makes a mental note to hug Sigrun later, bruised shoulder be damned.]

Yosuke had suspected that the Kingmaker might be blackmailing him- which would explain the sudden movement last night. But not this, god not this.
But Black had warned him weeks ago, hadn't he? In his way- telling him about his deal to save his sister. He KNEW this, and if the KM really can bring back the dead he can't blame him.
Or well, he would think these things if one thing didn't scream, yellow eyed and broken in his heart.]
You bastard, you knew! You knew last night!
[Yosuke is fast- much faster then he was in his fight against Sigrun, or his spar with Mouri. He's not thinking- it's Namatame all over again.
Only this time he's armed, those knives still all over the table and how fast he flips one out made his playing around earlier child's play in comparison. With a low animal noise he makes a leap for the tabletop]

Stop!
no subject
Don't.
[His voice is firm and unwavering, very unlike his usual soft and calm demeanor. His grip is tight, too, and unrelenting.]

[Things have officially gone to the worst case scenario. Mouri gets closer but is forced to stay away. There's something he can do, but it isn't guaranteed to work and he'd rather not to.
Getting closer would be a life-threatening situation. He decides to try to calm down via shouting because sure, why not]
Snap out of it, kid!

Just saying.]
