Final Investigation.
| You've all done very well to make it this far, but it's not over yet. The klaxons blare out today, as they always do – there's no reason they should do any differently, not least of which because it's a Thursday; strange things usually don't happen around here until Fridays, and there's no reason to think that today will be any different. But as soon as you awaken and get a glimpse of what's happening down that first-floor corridor, it becomes very apparent that that's far from the case. The usual rooms on the eastern wing of the first floor are gone entirely, replaced by more of that glossy black that coats the courtroom; it's a little vertigo-inspiring at first, but it's not dangerous. Of more interest, then, is probably those three rooms that seem to be waiting for you – one to the north, two to the south. Choose where you're going to go. Look around for a while. What else are you going to do, after all? >Explore? |
[OOC: Welcome to the final investigation! The areas blocked off in rooms 2 and 3 will require card keys to open; otherwise, you are free to investigate at your leisure!
Remember, we need 15 comments total from each of you on this log somewhere!]

...Slightly more pressing is what it's showing, which appears to be a city. It's populated and you can see people walking by. The city itself is pretty standard as cities go; densely-populated and made of tall buildings. There seem to be a lot of people though! Look at them all, damn.]

[Guessing it doesn't have any modern Earth recognizable features?]

...Well, that seems to answer where we are.

Colress leans in to give it a better look. Indeed, is there anything recognizable about it?]

[Time to push one of the other buttons, starting right to left]

It's definitely not one of yours though, and it's not one of the rooms you guys haven't touched either. The layout is different and it looks like someone's been living in there. They didn't even make the bed! Or clean up!! Rude. They're not in the room, however, so there's that.]

[The one he was SO SURE was fake?
Or one of the various other games he doesn't know about yetGuessing the room is vague enough that'd be impossible to guess who lives there
It's def not Yu, the bed isn't made]no subject

[Speaking off he kinda... casually taps the screen real fast- no he doesn't expect anything, no one else has their powers, but he hasn't had the chance to really check (and the arcade machines just seemed like trouble waiting to happen.)
Moving on!]

Another button press will net you something totally different! This looks like the control room you're currently in, but better lit. Also the monitors are all off and there's no one around, so there's that.]

[Boopboop you'd think he was Beat with so many buttons]

I believe the more concerning thing we should consider is the fact that there are multiple control rooms for multiple events like this.
Is there some sort of network connecting all of them...?

[Even Colress was questioning if it was real or not...]
Are there shots of any of the other rooms? Perhaps we might catch sight of someone.

[It's a theory. Maybe save theories for later.]

If it weren't for that, he might've thought of Castelia City...
But yes, let's see what the other buttons do, Yosuke.]

Is this room similarly nondescript? If so, Colress will go along the line of buttons to see if something more recognizable or at least describable pops up.]
