Mettaton doesn't really wait for the others to join them; he just leaves back through that section of wall they entered from, calling something back over his shoulder. It's part of how I make a living. Though usually I'm siphoning back accounts and hacking into buildings, not trying to rewrite an entire VR simulation. [On more than one occasion he wished that the next technology savvy person wasn't Yato...]
