Take Initiative.
| It seems things have been resolved - peacefully, if more than a little awkwardly for most parties involved. However, there's still work to do here, isn't there? Ryuunosuke shrugs after a long moment; tips his head up a bit. "Hey, Glory? Let everyone up." And apparently that's all it takes, though what that actually does isn't something that happens all at once - rather, panels slide out from the wall, forming a staircase up to that balcony they've been standing on. Mettaton doesn't really wait for the others to join them; he just leaves back through that section of wall they entered from, calling something back over his shoulder. "We've got another room to work from back here, darlings, this shouldn't take too long to work out." >Follow? |

Once the initial wooziness of waking up has passed and she is relieved to find that her mental faculties are indeed working properly, there's a momentary wonderment at the realization that wow, she is actually alive right now. Honestly, she was almost expecting to sort of just blink out of existence once the simulation ended, and yet, here we are.
... She might need a little help getting out of this pod, though: being on the verge of death and then proceeding to spend two months in stasis has probably not done any favors for her mobility skills here.]

[For all that the stasis pods did Stan no favors, his instinctive thought is that the dead still had it worse. He moves as quickly as possible to offer Megumi a hand.]
Careful standin' up, these are some killer drugs.

[The help is definitely appreciated here, and she will gladly take Stan's hand here to help her out.
... And sure enough, standing up is proving to be a herculean task to accomplish here, so we apologize if she wobbles quite a bit once she's out of the pod. But it's also a good thing too, she thinks, actually having feeling in her legs here. It's a sign that we really are alive.]
Thank you. I don't think I would have made it out of that pod on my own, to be honest...

[Stan gives a rather self-deprecating bark of laughter. He'll be fine.]
How're you feelin', otherwise? [Last he saw you you were sort of super dead]
no subject
[It's a relief honestly, not being super dead right now...]
And you, Stan-san?

[guess who doesn't know about your zombie apocalypse megs]

He's approaching the pod - stumbling, really. Whoo, hang on.]
Miss Megumi... [He's trying to give her space, but he's also gonna help her out of that pod because those things suck.] Easy now...

Still, the smile she gives him is tired, but relieved.]
Thank you, Speedwagon-san. [... Actually, she might need to drop the honorifics here soon, all things considered.] I'm sorry to be a bother, but I really appreciate your help here.
no subject
You're welcome. [He makes sure to return that smile. The least she deserves.] It's really no bother at all... I'd imagine dying takes a fair bit out of you.
no subject
Indeed, it does... [In more ways than one] But I'm glad that we're alive now, and I'd like for us to try to stay that way for as long as possible.
[no more murder games or people killing each other here, please and thank you]
What about you? How are you feeling?
no subject
Me? Well I feel like I could sing a song of joy! [...coughcough.] But perhaps later, when we're all feeling better. Can you stand on your own?

It's so good to see you again... and I'm glad that things worked out for you here.
[Said with a slight glance in the direction of wherever the heck Mettaton and Ryuunosuke is: to the surprise of probably no one, Megumi is kind of relieved that you guys spared those two and came up with a more peaceful alternative instead of killing them, despite all of the trouble they caused.]

[No one's more pleased about how things turned out with the ex-Kingmakers than him, trust me.]
How are you feeling?
no subject
[She legitimately was not expecting to be here with the rest of you, considering the things she could remember now regarding her memories.]
no subject
It wouldn't be the same without you. Of course you had to come along.

Hi, sweetheart! I'm so happy to see you alive! I hope those two fighting idiots didn't cause you too much trouble, and if they did I'll seek them out again and give them a good knock to the head!
no subject
I'm very happy to see you again too, Sigrun-san. [Ahaha] You don't have to worry too much about those two: they're certainly a handful sometimes, but... it did help make things feel lively while we were on the other side together.
[An actual, honest to god compliment about the fighting idiots, isn't that something.]
no subject
That's good. Really, one of the only good things I thought about people dying every week is that everyone on the other side wouldn't be so lonely. Even if things started getting pretty quiet on ours.
no subject
Well, that's not something you'll have to be concerned about again, hm? We're all alive and together here now.
[Sure, there might be some dangers waiting for them after this, but for now... it's nice, not being involved in that murder game anymore.]
