Mettaton doesn't really wait for the others to join them; he just leaves back through that section of wall they entered from, calling something back over his shoulder. [She is Stumped. How do you not date someone you love. And yet, how do you date someone who's hurt you countless times.]

Knowing Mettaton, I think you'll come out of this. If you really love him, and you really want to see this through to the end, then you have to be there for each other. Not necessarily saying that you have to forgive him every time he hurts you, because you absolutely don't, but, if you both truly want to be together and work out all your differences, you'll find a way to do that somehow.

If you both love each other, it's gonna be okay. Not...immediately, of course, but, it will be.

[ She sounds almost sad when she says that. ]

I really shouldn't love him still. Not when I've been hurt twice by him, when things have ended up the way they are, but...

I do? It kind of sucks? I have every right to hate him, but I don't, and... really, even though I said I'd kill him, I don't want to. I'm just hurt. And even that's going away, because even if he did this and that and all this other shit, I know how he was with me was something special and it was as real as it could be in a virtual world or whatever.

I don't know if it's be a mistake to still date him or if it'd be the best decision of my life, so I'll leave that in his hands. I don't even know if he still loves me. I know that he did love me, but I don't know about now. He's always been good at cutting feelings like that off.

[But he's also always been terrible at hiding things from her. Sigrun reads him pretty well. It's not perfect, but she's better than most at it.]

Not fair to ask that though. Kinda afraid of the answer. Maybe everything'll be okay, maybe it won't be, but I'll try to be ready for anything. I guess.

You can't help who you fall in love with. If there's one thing I know for a fact, it's that. And sometimes when you're in love, you get hurt, and you get hurt badly. It shouldn't happen, and it's terrible that it does, but it's a part of love. Getting hurt by the person you care about most is...awful, it's one of the worst feelings in the whole world, but, not everything in love is sunshine and glitter, as much as I wish that it was.

...I'll keep my fingers crossed for you, Sigrun. I hope that he does love you, though. I hope that one day when he sees you he realizes that you're his whole world and that holding your hand is his favorite thing to do in life and that you both will get a happy ending, one that you worked hard to get, like all the best love stories have.

Whether it works out or it doesn't, I'm not a future-teller, so I couldn't tell you, but true love finds a way. That's what I tell myself all the time. ...If he doesn't love you, you'll find a way to make sure that one day he does, if you want it bad enough.

[Misa and Aqua were the girls Sigrun cared the most for out of all of them, minus the obvious herself. She thinks she can count them both as her best friends. The people she wants to keep in touch with no matter what, that she'd cross worlds for to help out.

[ Misa, to her credit, looks like she's about to cry herself. She's so fond of Sigrun, and has been from the beginning, so hearing that is a definite honor. To think that someone here thinks of her as her best friend, even after everything she put then through...

And it's not just that, either. There's a very very real chance that she could be returning to a world where she's entirely alone. No parents, no Rem, no Light, no one. And as scary as that possibility is, its something she's been trying to look at optimistically... ]

Well, my second biggest problem is that I have to find it. I don't know where it is or who has it, but, even if I don't use it, I don't trust anyone other than Light with it. So that's what I need to do when I get home. ...But the Kira thing is on indefinite hiatus, yes.

I've had some time to think about it. And while I'm still very against the idea of criminals, and I still think someone needs to step up and change the way things are done in a world where so much pain is caused by other people...well, I think there needs to be a better way. It's not really as simple as I thought it was, where there's a black side and a white side, one side to keep alive and the other side that needs to be wiped out by any means necessary. Some people skirt the line, some people are forced to cross it...

And what I'm doing works, yes, but...it's not 100% justice.

I'm proud of you, pigtails. I know that you'll work hard to protect the people who need to be protected and hunt down the ones that cause harm without going back to what you used to, because that's the kind of girl you are. I'm looking forward to visiting your world to see what it's like.

I hope so. It would be nice if I could convince Light to do the same, too...I mean, yeah, I'll always be grateful for what he did as Kira. Back when I was in that courtroom and I had to look at the face of my parent's killer every day, I just wanted everything to end. And when they were leaning towards him being innocent, I thought the whole world was rotten. I didn't want any part of it.

Then Kira brought justice. He saved my life, saved me from myself...and then, of course, Gelus protected me in his own way, too, from that terrible stalker...and I thought the only way I'd really be able to do some good with my life was to make it up to Kira. To avenge my parents, to make sure by any means necessary that what happened to me wasn't happening to anyone else. So that's what I did. And then I fell in love and you know the rest, but...

My whole life after that was love and revenge. And revenge and justice are...kind of different, is what I'm learning. Ambitious is proof of that. Light, though, he's not Kira for revenge. He's Kira because he wants to make the world a better place and this is the best way he knows how, given what he found.

[ ...But that's not true, either. At the end of the day, he was Kira because he was bored out of his mind. Not that she'll ever admit that. ]

I hope I can convince him, though. And maybe...maybe we can put our heads together, find some way to make the world a better place without just murdering anyone we think goes too far. I'm no good with big plans like that, so, I'm not gonna be the one who comes up with the ideas, but, what I do have is a lot of stubbornness, and a really, really huge hatred of criminals. ...So maybe a Death Note isn't exactly the answer, not the way I'm using it right now, but, I'll try my best to find out what is.
