Mettaton doesn't really wait for the others to join them; he just leaves back through that section of wall they entered from, calling something back over his shoulder. [He's starting school soon- he wants this... but he knows better then to sacrifice himself for it again. He has his life to live, and the drive to do so finally.

And they both need some time to heal. To be good and healthy. Distance makes the heart grow fonder, right? And maybe someday? There'd be something more longterm- he hasn't decided what to do with his life after college, after all. Or maybe not.

But he has the time to figure that out. To finish growing up.]
