Take Initiative.

It seems things have been resolved - peacefully, if more than a little awkwardly for most parties involved.

However, there's still work to do here, isn't there?

Ryuunosuke shrugs after a long moment; tips his head up a bit. "Hey, Glory? Let everyone up."

And apparently that's all it takes, though what that actually does isn't something that happens all at once - rather, panels slide out from the wall, forming a staircase up to that balcony they've been standing on. Mettaton doesn't really wait for the others to join them; he just leaves back through that section of wall they entered from, calling something back over his shoulder.

"We've got another room to work from back here, darlings, this shouldn't take too long to work out."

lackinginfaith: Caren exasperated. (i've seen this in anime)

That's why I said only a little.

[She shakes her head, though.]

I hope whatever happens when you're deleted works out for him. Better than burning him onto a CD or whatever they have in whatever time this is.
bloodisthicker: i can't handle this rabbit food (oh that's just unfortunate)

[personal profile] bloodisthicker 2016-05-01 01:56 am (UTC)(link)
...Is there a way we could at least contact him and let him know...? Don't get me wrong, he's an absolutely terrible person, but it seems kind of cold to just sort of unceremoniously delete a person even if they want to die.
lackinginfaith: Caren looking nervous and contemplative. (she's just a bunch of pixels)

[personal profile] lackinginfaith 2016-05-01 02:43 am (UTC)(link)
Going back in, I'd think, but...
bloodisthicker: in your dreams, tarrlok... (my best lord vetinari impression)

[personal profile] bloodisthicker 2016-05-01 09:23 pm (UTC)(link)
...that's definitely something I'd like to avoid. I don't want to go that far out of my way for him.
lackinginfaith: Caren arriving out of nowhere again. (look it up on wikipedia)

[personal profile] lackinginfaith 2016-05-01 09:40 pm (UTC)(link)
That's true. I'm never going back into stasis again, either. But couldn't we put some file in instead?
bloodisthicker: yeah but what are we going to do with all that melon juice? (pinky are you thinking what i'm thinking)

[personal profile] bloodisthicker 2016-05-02 02:34 am (UTC)(link)
I guess we could always just ask Glory to do something, because she's... better at these things than most of us.
captainobnoxious: (19 yeah that's broken)

[personal profile] captainobnoxious 2016-05-01 05:17 am (UTC)(link)
... Was he really that bad? I've been wanting to talk to him since I learned about him, but Glory was always so against it.

Like, she got mad at me against it. Underlined words and everything.
lackinginfaith: Caren judging from a distance. (how big is your phone)

[personal profile] lackinginfaith 2016-05-01 09:42 pm (UTC)(link)
He did run a murder exercise. But that was probably the part of her that came from those two. He was their mastermind, so of course they'd hate him.
captainobnoxious: (60 you get used to it)

[personal profile] captainobnoxious 2016-05-01 09:47 pm (UTC)(link)
[...............]

If it's really a matter of guilty conscience, then we can have Glory tell him of our decision beforehand. That way we won't be going back in. Think that could work?
lackinginfaith: Caren arriving out of nowhere again. (look it up on wikipedia)

[personal profile] lackinginfaith 2016-05-01 09:48 pm (UTC)(link)
If she'd do it.
captainobnoxious: (12 matter o' fact kids)

[personal profile] captainobnoxious 2016-05-01 09:52 pm (UTC)(link)
I think she will. She's always been a great help before -- she was the one who ended up helping out the most, actually, from all the talks I had with her -- so I'm sure one more request isn't anything she'd be against.

But it's your decision to make. Since you all knew him more than we did.
lackinginfaith: Caren frowning and leaning on a table. (iiiii'm just gonna chill here)

[personal profile] lackinginfaith 2016-05-01 09:55 pm (UTC)(link)
He'd agree. He lost his will to live without the person he cared about, and he hated everything else.
captainobnoxious: (09 mmm!)

[personal profile] captainobnoxious 2016-05-01 10:07 pm (UTC)(link)
Well, don't I just know the feeling.

[And then he turned out to be alive!

But also one of the two gamerunners!]

Then we're all in agreement. You guys, me, the two disasters over there [the gamerunners,] Ambitious himself... Let's tell Glory to give him fair warning before she deletes him.

[though surely mettaton and ryuunosuke wouldn't agree with the "fair warning" part]
lackinginfaith: Caren looking up. (tell him it was the mermaid!)

[personal profile] lackinginfaith 2016-05-01 10:56 pm (UTC)(link)
All right. I don't think he'd appreciate it if we burned him onto a stack of CDs instead, anyway. Or whatever alternative they have in this world.
bloodisthicker: maybe you shouldn't have gone all facist tarrlok (way to turn out like dad tarrlok)

[personal profile] bloodisthicker 2016-05-02 12:17 am (UTC)(link)
...what Caren said, basically, but you know how we're standing up here and talking about how we want to end all of these, ah, "murdergames" forever?

...his group basically got to the same point, and then he killed the rest of them before he started his own simulation.
captainobnoxious: (19 yeah that's broken)

[personal profile] captainobnoxious 2016-05-02 02:38 am (UTC)(link)
[oh.]

Well, that's stupid. I'm glad we're all sane here.

[....................]

Mostly sane.
bloodisthicker: yeah but what are we going to do with all that melon juice? (pinky are you thinking what i'm thinking)

[personal profile] bloodisthicker 2016-05-03 12:25 am (UTC)(link)
...how about "acceptably unlikely to up and murder everyone."
captainobnoxious: (03 can't be that hard)

[personal profile] captainobnoxious 2016-05-03 04:46 am (UTC)(link)
[She'll give a look towards their gamerunners for a moment.

A solid moment.

But back to Tarrlok.]

That's a fair assessment. Now it is, anyway.
bloodisthicker: it never fails. (i saw it in my coffee.)

[personal profile] bloodisthicker 2016-05-04 02:47 am (UTC)(link)
...Yes, in the present time, it's fair, even though I had my doubts before... you know.

We didn't die.

Again.
