Take Initiative.
| It seems things have been resolved - peacefully, if more than a little awkwardly for most parties involved. However, there's still work to do here, isn't there? Ryuunosuke shrugs after a long moment; tips his head up a bit. "Hey, Glory? Let everyone up." And apparently that's all it takes, though what that actually does isn't something that happens all at once - rather, panels slide out from the wall, forming a staircase up to that balcony they've been standing on. Mettaton doesn't really wait for the others to join them; he just leaves back through that section of wall they entered from, calling something back over his shoulder. "We've got another room to work from back here, darlings, this shouldn't take too long to work out." >Follow? |

Exactly. And I'm not gonna start disappointing you now, treasure. You're still too important to me for that.
[Because she can say she loves him to everyone else in this vault, but actually saying it to his face is still something that feels like it should wait. Might assure his thoughts about when he's being killed though.]
I really missed you. [a sigh.] Wasn't the same without you around, you know. I had to paint up that old office all by myself for the most part.

[...Mettaton, that's creepy.
Anyway...]
...It's fine if you don't want to, you know. But you can still touch my soul whenever you want. I think it'll be all right.
no subject
It gets a laugh out of her though, and she'll look up at him. Four inch heels are something she wants right now.]
One, that's creepy, but I'm glad. Sorry I cried so much.
[because that's the thing to apologize for, seeing as she knows he doesn't like it or being the cause of it]
... As for two, really? I mean, of course I want to, but are you sure?
no subject
Why wouldn't I be?
no subject
[Even if she doesn't really want to anymore.]
no subject
But I don't think you'd do it like that.
no subject
[She'd rather actually fight him. His soul versus hers. That kind of thing.]
Speaking of souls though, lovely, what does it mean when you say I have an orange soul? I haven't been able to figure it out.
no subject
[He's pretty sure that's straightforward?]
no subject
[You know.]
If it means anything? Since there's different colors and stuff. And yours means that you're made up of the most bullshit I've ever heard.
no subject
[Hm.]
Bravery, I've heard. That's what the orange ones tend to have in common.
no subject
[Well shit, that's obvious now. At least she can tell Cherryblod that that's what they have in common.]
Cherry and I thought it might be the fact we're both stubborn as hell, but that's fine too. I'm not even surprised.
[...]
Your soul isn't complete bullshit, by the way. Just mostly bullshit. I can see what you mean when you talked about what it's made of.
no subject
[You can't just say things like that, Sigrun, come on.]
no subject
What'll you do if I don't tell you?
no subject
no subject
[Look, an official order. Learn to fucking flirt-banter with her.]
... But anyway, I'll tell you. Your soul's made up of three frankly bullshit things. Care to list them off for me, sweetie? I'll go one by one.

[Alright, time to word this.]
Hope's the most obvious to me. You embody it to all your fans, and you have a lot of it too yourself. For seeing the outside world. For performing. You want things to be good, even if it's in a selfish way. There's nothing wrong with that.
Love's... pretty obvious too. Seeing as, you know. You love a fair amount of things. Your job as a star. Your adoring fans. The people around you. Yourself [...] Me. You're filled and made of it, you just have a really messed up way of dealing with it.
[Maybe the "me" part was too bold, but you know what, she's confident. Moving right along.]
Compassion's the hardest to pin. But when I think about the reasons why you do things, I know you've got it in you. You said yourself that you thought you'd die and then I'd just move on, that you never wanted to hurt me. That's scratching the surface of it, you know? You're not a completely compassionate person, you're the biggest asshole I know, but you do have it in you.

...I'll have to tell you at some point. About what happened to the Underground.
I'm not saying that you're wrong, and we shouldn't discuss it here. But I'll have to tell you sometime.
no subject
[... She should probably let go of him but she really doesn't want to. So she'll just kind of lean against him more and linger a while yet.]
I'd like to hear the stunts you did for your shows. And I want you to sing for me, since I did it for you once. I want to know more about your cousin, too. [A pause.] You really suck at writing letters, honey.
no subject
[Good. He doesn't want to let go yet, either.]
As for being king, that's... Our ruling system is a mess. Obviously.

[...]
To help clear my mind. And stuff. But still! They were intended to reach you somehow, and now they're all gone so that's that I guess! No need to ever speak about them again, forget I brought it up.
[The contents of them might be more than a little embarrassing for her.]
no subject
[He'll spare you discussing the contents of them for now, okay.]
no subject
Wish I could've brought it with me. It was pretty much the best thing I ever made while I was there.
... I was gonna put it on the piano in the music room, cover it with a blanket or something, and when we got at a nice point in our date I'd show it off to you. Then show you all the things I put inside it. Then give it to you, because why wouldn't you want a glittery wooden statue of yourself.
[And then he'd smooch her. The whole plan led up to him smooching her.]

no subject
[Seriously, who puts off murder plans for a date.]
You've always done what you wanted to do.
[It's just that she'd like to be there with him when he does them. Unless it's murder related.]
