Mettaton doesn't really wait for the others to join them; he just leaves back through that section of wall they entered from, calling something back over his shoulder. I don't see why not, really. You're friends with anyone who you enjoy spending time with. You just also have to accept that it's gonna be messy once things come out, but if you think it's worth the risk... Well, I mean, I know a few idiots who could've done without getting attached to people.

So. Yosuke and Black really like each other, but I'm kind of sworn off of teasing of them. There's also Kamui and Zagi, who might be together? Zagi's at least head over heels for him, as someone who knows what that's like, and Colress and Tarrlok have... something, I think. Yato made a chart of who liked who once.
